Born in Westminster Hospital, London and grew up outside London. Graduated BA Hons from University of Manchester 2003 in Drama and Film and BA Hons in Acting from London Academy Of Music and Dramatic Arts in 2006.
His first professional job was playing John Halder in the West End production of 'Good' by C.P. Taylor directed by Polly Findlay at the now extinct Sound Theatre, Soho. Has also performed on stage at the Londons Royal National Theatre in The Revenger's Tragedy directed by Melly Stills and Major Barbara directed by Nicholas Hytner. Other theatre production include Cyrano at Chichester Festival directed by Trevor Nunn, at the Guthrie Theatre Minneapolis and Bristol Old Vic in Our Country's Good directed by Max Stafford Clark, among others.
Tom has written for the BBC as a comedy writer and for Channel Four. He is an accomplished VoiceOver artist represented by Another Tongue, London. Grandson of Stanley Andrews the film composer, nephew of Anthony Andrews, actor and brother of Florence Andrews, actor and singer.
