Born in Wrexham, North Wales, Shaun Delaney is part Irish, part Welsh.
His parents divorced when he was 6 years old.
Shaun was a promising footballer as a teenager and also played the
guitar to a good standard.
In his early teens, partly inspired by the "Rocky" movies and partly to
look-after himself on the rough council estate he lived on in Mold,
North Wales, Shaun turned to boxing and trained for 3 or 4 years with
the Welsh legendary boxer, the late Gerry "Boyo" Greaves at his Mold
Gym.
Studied Finance & Law at Llandrillo Collage, Colwyn Bay in 1993/3
Studied Law at Bournemouth University, England. Graduated in 1997.
1999, moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil, and learned Portuguese so that he
could communicate with his girlfriend's parents.
Moved to work in Bangkok, Thailand in 2001 and during that period "fell
in love" with acting.
Trainer with renowned acting coach, former RADA student, Jake Anthony.
Shaun's roles continue to get more interesting and he has gained a
reputation as being a professional, versatile and very talented under
Anthony's guidance.
His stage experience includes over 500 performances as a member of a
comedy/drama group, performing in Thai and English language. 17 TV
shows and 7 movie roles.
