draft out of Dartmouth. Selected by the Colorado Rockies from the
Yankees in the third round of the 1993 free agent draft. Leads all
active former Ivy Leaguers with 508 career RBIs.
Daughters: Sophie (March 13, 1998) and Abigail (July 27, 1999).
Catcher with the San Diego Padres (1993-1996[start]), Detroit Tigers
(1996[end] & 1999-2000), and Houston Astros (1997-1998 &
2001-present).
