In April, Blake Shelton said the only way he’d ever return to The Voice is if he could do so alongside his fellow Og coaches, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Christina Aguilera. Well, that is happening (sort of) for the upcoming Season 25 finale! As announced by NBC, Shelton will make his return to the singing competition series for the Season 25 finale on Tuesday, May 21, as part of a celebration of 25 seasons. The country star, who served as a coach for 13 years from Season 1 to Season 23, will be joined by two of his Og coaches, Green and Levine, as well as fellow coach alums Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, and Shelton’s wife, pop superstar Gwen Stefani. Aguilera is the only one from the original Voice coaching lineup not currently scheduled to appear for the live celebration. “If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again,...

The Voice fans agree that the long-running singing competition hasn’t quite been the same since Blake Shelton hung it up and decided to retire as a judge. According to a source close to Blake, he would consider coming out of retirement under two strict conditions. So, what are they?
The Voice: Blake Shelton Was An Original Judge On The Show
Blake Shelton was part of the original lineup of The Voice judges when the show first premiered. It was NBC’s answer to American Idol, and they brought the star power to the judging panel. This is a trend that has continued in all of the seasons since.
When one industry heavy-hitter leaves The Voice judging panel, they are replaced by another judge who is at the top of their game. So, in that sense, there are no losers, because, you can always count on a high-caliber celeb...

Undeniably, Blake Shelton prides himself in being a mainstay on the popular show The Voice. After his longtime tenure, he compares himself to Wheel Of Fortune host, Pat Sajak. Additionally, he teases a possible comeback for the show.
Blake Shelton Is A Legend For The Voice
In 2023, Blake Shelton left The Voice fans in shock by leaving abruptly. Unmistakably, he had been a staple of the show since its start. After 23 back-to-back seasons, Blake admitted he needed a break. While Blake was a fixture on the show since its first season in 2011, he knew it was time to do something else. Without a doubt, he still holds the record for most wins by a coach on The Voice. Notably, he took the win in nine different seasons. Gwen Stefani has coached many talented competitors on the reality competition series The Voice. But a point was made that The Voice hasn’t really launched the careers of its top winners like other similar reality shows. Stefani offered her own theory as to why that was the case.

Like American Idol, The Voice gave aspiring singers a chance at superstardom. But there were a few key differences between American Idol and The Voice other than their judging practices. American Idol contestants and winners had a history of achieving great success in the music industry, from Kelly Clarkson to Jennifer Hudson.
But winners on The Voice haven’t really reached the same heights that their American Idol counterparts have. This pattern was noticed, not only by fans of the series, but by industry professionals as well.

The Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, also known as “the Oscars of Science,” is an awards show unlike any other.
Founded and funded by Silicon Valley titan Yuri Milner and his artist wife Julia Milner, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative co-founder Priscilla Chan, the Breakthrough Prize recognizes “scientists changing the world” with award statuettes and sizable cash prizes. And on Saturday night, at the ceremony’s 10th edition — the second in a row held on the roof of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, with the Hollywood Hills glistening in the background — presenters, performers and audience members included a collection of A-listers that could give the Oscars a run for their money.
One could turn left and spot Bill Gates and Robert Downey Jr. sitting at the same table, or right and find tablemates Bradley Cooper and Rupert Murdoch schmoozing.

In the social media video, The Rolling Stones lead singer appeared to be at a bar or restaurant when a band started to play a cover of “Moves Like Jagger,” leading the legendary musician to groove to the tunes. “Moves like who,” Jagger captioned the post, crediting the band named Splash for their rendition of the track.

Like him or not, Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest music artists in the world at the moment, in any genre. The country singer’s relatively young career has been a roller-coaster ride, to say the least, from the genuinely inspired to the boneheaded, and, in one case, shameful. Here’s a closer look at the major times the Sneedville, Tennessee, native has made waves with his music, his actions, or his words.

The Voice is in its 25th season and the coaches believe they know what makes it still popular all these years later. While television ratings have dropped, that has happened across all of television. The Voice‘s ratings remain relatively strong compared to the rest of the television landscape.
Here is why The Voice coaches feel the show remains strong 25 seasons since its start
What Caused The Voice‘s Success?
The Voice has been on the air for 13 years and 25 seasons. As a comparison, Fox canceled American Idol after 15 seasons. Since moving to ABC, it is now in its 22nd season. The Voice has had more seasons than one of the most popular singing competition shows in history. It also easily outlasted a similar show in The X Factor, which only lasted three seasons in the United States.

It’s been 13 years since Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera topped charts with “Moves Like Jagger,” and still nobody loves it more than Mick Jagger himself. On Wednesday, he posted an Instagram Reel of himself dancing to the song as played by a covers group in a bar with a decent crowd on the dance floor. But the band performs the song as if it’s too a stadium full of rabid Marooniacs, and Jagger responds by showing how, at age 80, he’s still got the moves.

It appears The Voice is not doing to great at the moment. Fans are not happy with the reality television show this season. Add to that the financial issues the show is having and it isn’t looking good for one of the biggest singing competition. The financial issues of NBC and The Voice is so bad, sources say they may have to start cutting the salaries of the judges. Seeing Reba McEntire is one of the newest judges, it’s possible she’ll be the first to feel the tightening purse strings.

NBC is being forced to make some budget cuts for their hit show, The Voice. It appears the financial situation of NBC is not as good as it should be. Raises for the judges are currently out of the question. Every penny being spent on “the talent” is being scrutinized.

After leaving Verve last month, Bill Weinstein and Devon Schiff are joining Paradigm in the literary content department, the agency has announced.
“In this business, whether collaborating or going head-to-head, there is no denying the creativity, intelligence and passion that Bill and Devon bring to their work. This relentless advocacy on behalf of clients is a great fit with the artist-led approach that remains the core value of Paradigm,” said Paradigm Talent Agency managing partner Andrew Ruf.
The hirings come after nearly a month of rumors and jockeying for Weinstein, who in February was ousted as the CEO of Verve, the agency he co-founded with Bryan Besser and Adam Levine. Shortly after he ouster, it was reported that Weinstein would be starting his own operation, taking three Verve agents — Schiff, Matthew Doyle and Jake Dillman — with him.

As Deadline revealed last night, former Verve CEO Bill Weinstein has joined Paradigm along with former Verve colleague Devon Schiff. Both join as agents in the Literary Content department and will be working out of Paradigm’s Los Angeles office.
Appointed as CEO of Verve last January, Weinstein co-founded the agency in 2010 alongside Bryan Besser and Adam Levine. He was previously a motion picture literary agent at WME, and at Endeavor prior to its merger. He began his career in the mailroom at Endeavor.
As Partner and Head of Packaging & Crossover at Verve, Schiff had been focused on representing independent studios, production companies, and multi-hyphenate filmmakers. Previously, she was an executive at Intermedia Films, and an independent producer with a deal at Disney. She began her career in the mailroom at William Morris, and as an assistant at Endeavor.

The Voice coaches have been deemed “replaceable” which has led to the question of who will be out next. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were the bookends and staples of the series. Now that they have both left, it appears that no one is safe, and fans like it that way. Read on for more details.
The Voice Which Coach Out Next After Deemed ‘Replaceable’
It was hard enough when Adam Levine exited The Voice in 2019 after sixteen seasons. He and Blake Shelton had an amazing bromance which helped the dynamic of the series. More so, it did not matter who was sandwiched between them. They helped to carry the show and even Blake, on his own, found someone he could have banter with. Unfortunately, he departed after Season 23 with Reba McEntire replacing him. She has been a fun addition but the judges do rotate some and the consistency can be questionable.

Exclusive: Following his stunning ouster from Verve, the agency he co-founded in 2010, where he’d most recently served as CEO, veteran agent Bill Weinstein looks to have found his next destination, as multiple sources tell Deadline that he’s in talks to join Paradigm.
Paradigm declined comment, and Weinstein couldn’t be reached, but we’ll update this story with his statement if and when it comes in.
As we were first to report, it had previously been speculated that Weinstein would be setting up his own shop named Novo, and bring the Verve trio of Devon Schiff, Matthew Doyle and Jake Dillman with him following their own departures from the agency. Whether any or all of them will be joining him at Paradigm isn’t yet clear.
We also hear that Weinstein’s own deal isn’t yet done. But he’s expected to bring with him a strong...

Verve And Former CEO Bill Weinstein Come To Settlement Agreement Following His Departure From Agency
Exclusive: Following a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed after he departed the agency, former CEO Bill Weinstein and Verve have agreed on a settlement.
Details are unknown, but the attorney for Verve co-founders Bryan Besser and Adam Levine released a statement Monday. “The parties have amicably resolved their dispute, and have reached a confidential settlement in principle,” Julie Gerchik at Glaser Weil said.
Weinstein filed the suit last month in Los Angeles Superior Court, stating he was kicked out of the company “without any notice, reason, cause or an opportunity to cure.” (Read the complaint here). The settlement means the suit will not move forward.
Weinstein could not be reached for comment.
While not confirmed, sources say Weinstein will be setting up a new shop called Novo and bringing with him his clients along with former Verve agents Devon Schiff, Matthew Doyle and Jake Dillman.

Updated Below: The lawsuit and the application for a restraining order have been dismissed.
Former Verve CEO Bill Weinstein has filed for a temporary restraining order against his former company.
In the filing obtained by Variety, Weinstein requests that his employment be provisionally restored in order to require the company and co-founders Bryan Besser and Adam Levine “to engage in the contractually required dispute resolution procedure to which all parties agreed during the formation of the company.”
Filed Thursday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the documents continue, “This is not the Wild West; the parties’ must abide by their contractual duties.”
The filing alleges that, despite being the top revenue generator at the company, Weinstein “consistently had a far lower ratio of compensation to revenue generated than the other members,” and that higher-paid members “balked at Mr. Weinstein’s proposals” to align compensation packages “more fairly.”

Bill Weinstein has sued Verve talent agency stemming from his exit after a little more than a year as chief executive, accusing the firm’s leadership of conspiring to oust him in a move to sell the company without cutting him in on the deal.
Weinstein, in a lawsuit filed on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claimed that agency co-founders Bryan Besser and Adam Levine terminated him following his attempts to resolve a deadlock on personnel and administrative matters such as board of director composition and officer compensation. He says he was fired for unspecified “cause,” which allowed Verve to purchase his equity interest at a substantial discount.
The complaint, which also names Levine and Besser, brings a claim for breach of contract. He seeks a temporary restraining order blocking Verve from terminating his employment until arbitration proceedings are resolved.
