Sex and the City is an iconic television series that no one can deny. From featuring a stellar star cast with talented actors like Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker to having a great storyline, it still remains one of the most popular sitcoms. Kristin, in her newest episode of the Are You a Charlotte podcast, brought in Candace Bushnell, the author of the weekly column on which the series was made.

During that conversation (Via Entertainment), the girls talked about the infamous ‘bed fart’ scene in the first season and what started off as a classy interaction, it turned into well, a gassy one. Kristin shared how mortified Sarah Jessica Parker was to do that scene, and even after doing it, how terrified she was and still is. The duo was exploring the episode The Drought from Sex and the City.

James Bond's Greatest Ally Got His First Solo Mission In Comic Books
Image
As long as there has been James Bond, there has been Felix Leiter. The character was introduced in the very first Bond novel, "Casino Royale," all the way back in 1953, and was initially written as a CIA agent and former U.S. Marine who allies with Bond while working with NATO's Joint Intelligence Staff. Leiter was a way for the author to dramatize the so-called "special relationship" between the UK and US, though 007 himself was always the dominant agent.

When Bond transitioned to the big screen with 1962's "Dr. No," Leiter came with him. Jack Lord played the character in Bond's first big screen outing, but would be replaced by Cec Linder when the character returned in 1964's "Goldfinger." Still, Leiter remained a part of the 007 movie franchise throughout its six-decade run, with seven actors portraying the character across that time. Most recently, Jeffrey Wright took on the...

Sex and the City’s 1 Unexpected Death Was Disturbing but Mr Big’s Ultimate Fate Overshadowed It
Image
Sex and the City had its share of shocking deaths, but one disturbing loss was completely overshadowed by Mr. Big’s fate. His dramatic exit in And Just Like That rewrote Carrie’s story, burying a once-devastating moment in its wake.

So, which death got lost in the chaos? And why did Big’s ending steal the spotlight? Turns out, in Satc, heartbreak always finds a way to one-up itself.

Are Young And The Restless Fans Ready For A New Era With Victor And Jack Replaced?
Image
The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease mystery man Aristotle Dumas may replace two longtime tycoons in Genoa City-their social positions.

Will the new Mr. Big replace both Jabot’s Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and take both their places?

It Had To Happen Eventually

The moment was inevitable—the show needed to unveil a character with the power and charm to take the reins from Victor and Jack, the reigning titans of Genoa City.

If the narrative simply lingered in the same old patterns, we would be stuck in a monotonous cycle of their relentless rivalry.

Thus, it’s with great anticipation that we await the arrival of Aristotle Dumas; you may have already heard of him, and if you follow us, you’ve likely read about him as well.

He doesn’t appear to be your typical entrepreneur; instead, he seems poised...

Fans Are Shocked That the Last ‘Ghostbusters’ Sequel Had to CGI a Library
Image
In addition to comedy, second-hand smoke and paranormal blow jobs, one of the most memorable elements from the original 1984 Ghostbusters was New York City itself — from the iconic firehouse, to Tavern on the Green, to Dana Barrett’s cursed apartment building on Central Park West. Even with its history of interdimensional marshmallow mascot attacks, apartments in that building still sell for over $8 million.

The movie also begins with a visit to a famous Manhattan landmark: the New York City Public Library, which is apparently haunted. We later see that the ghost in question is a demonic librarian in a scene that likely inspired a generation of kids to avoid libraries at all costs for the rest of their lives.

While the sequel and 2016 remake were similarly set in New York, Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife shifted the action to rural Oklahoma because the occultist Ivo Shandor's haunted mine just so...

10 TV Couples That Should've Ended Up Together (But Didn't)
Image
When it comes to TV, romantic storylines have always been common, with some of the most popular fictional couples coming from network TV. While some of these iconic couples, like Ross Geller and Rachel Green (Friends), Pam Beesly and Jim Halpert (The Office), or Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big (Sex and the City), ended up together at the end of their respective series, some TV couples didn't end up being endgame.

Many TV fans are disappointed when their favorite couple does not end up together in the end. This can occur for many reasons, usually because one of the characters ends up with someone else or an actor decides to leave the show. 15 Best James Bond Villains of All-Time, Ranked
Image
As iconic as James Bond is, equally essential to the longevity of the 007 franchise has been its inclusion of a series of memorable villains. These scheming and plotting megalomaniacs have helped transform the character of James Bond into one of cinema's most enduring heroes. From Connery to Craig, each iteration of Bond depends on the villains.

Over the past sixty years, the 007 franchise has delivered some of the most unforgettable bad guys in movie history. Of course, there have been some misguided decisions along the way (not to mention a few dated and racist stereotypes). But the series has created a remarkable short list of classic villains instantly recognizable thanks to their giant metal teeth, pithy one-liners, and maniacal death traps.

This article was updated by Christopher Raley on February 1, 2025: James Bond has endured periodic obsolescence, dated sexism, and gadget grandstanding to become one of the most well-known and even loved heroes of cinema.

And Just Like That Season 3: Confirmation, Cast, & Everything We Know
Image
The second season of Sex and the City revival And Just Like That was a smashing success, and here's all the season 3 news teasing what awaits when Carrie returns. The revival was originally supposed to be a miniseries before it was renewed for a second season, but the Sex and the City continuation has seemingly become the second leg of the franchise. And Just Like That follows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life in New York City in their 50s, dealing with grief, complex friendships, sexuality, and gender.

From the start, And Just Like That differed from HBO's Sex and the City. Carrie's main love interest Mr. Big (Chris Noth) died in the first episode, and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) never appeared on screen due to Kim Cattrall initially refusing to return. Viewership made up for the less-than-desirable reviews, and Ajlt was...

'Zootopia 2' repeats 2016 controversy
Image
The original Zootopia (2016) was a critical and commercial success for the Walt Disney Company, and that's putting it lightly. With a box office haul of $1,025,485,003 worldwide, the fox and bunny gave a certain pair of Arendelle royals a bit of competition.

That being said, it might also be the case that the original film simply came out at the right time to resonate with its then-current audience. In a time when prejudice and violence ran rampant, a film that paralleled the world around its viewers was a little more than wild. With a second movie in production, something feels eerily familiar.

Here We Go Again

Zootopia came out in 2016, a year of absolute chaos. The world was overrun with violence, turmoil, and division. Similar to how Judy Hopps' idealistic view of the place where "anyone can be anything," so too were many perspectives as everything seemed to unravel for many impressionable onlookers.

Liam Gallagher Calls ‘Saturday Night Live’ Oasis Sketch ‘Excruciating’: ‘Are They Meant To Be Comedians?’

Oasis co-founder Liam Gallagher was not amused after Saturday Night Live’s sketch parodied the infamous fight between him and his brother, Noel Gallagher.

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has taken aim at Saturday Night Live after the long-running sketch show mocked him and his older brother Noel Gallagher in the most recent episode. Sex And The City: Carrie & Mr. Big's Relationship Timeline
Image
The Mr. Big and Carrie relationship was a rollercoaster that lasted throughout Sex and the City and into the 2021 revival, And Just Like That... though it had an incredibly tragic ending. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mr. Big (Chris Noth) met in the Sex and the City pilot and developed an instant attraction. The meeting led to a whirlwind romance that ended up surviving Carrie being engaged to someone else and Mr. Big moving to the West Coast. Through breakups and new relationships, Carrie and Big couldn't quit each other.

There were times when Carrie and Big were a toxic couple, but the longer Sex and the City continued, the more they matured into each other's perfect partner. The "will-they-won't-they" of Mr. Big and Carrie lasted until the final season of Sex and the City, when Big proposed. The first Sex and the City movie saw them tying the knot,...

Emily in Paris Season 5 Needs to Avoid Repeating 1 Horrid Mistake Darren Star Made With ‘Sex and the City’ to Avoid Becoming Netflix’s Most Hated Show
Image
Darren Star certainly knows how to keep fans of his shows on edge, and that is precisely what’s being done with Netflix’s Emily in Paris. This show has successfully run the romance, drama/comedy scene for four incredible seasons. While there is no official confirmation on Season 5, fans are concerned with how the storyline capped off during its latest season.

Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, is an American hired by a marketing firm in Paris to provide them with her expertise. However, the character also goes through a series of learning curves, life experiences, and a lot more in the mix. And obviously, why create a television show without a touch of romance in it? But that’s where Darren Star tends to mess it all up.

Alec Baldwin Almost Starred in This Iconic ‘90s Show But Lost the Million-Dollar Opportunity Thanks to One Actor

Alec Baldwin’s reputation is now in the mire after the controversial Rust shooting and several court trials over the past few years. He was one of Hollywood’s biggest and most in-demand actors, and even Darren Star, the creator of S*x and the City, wanted him on the team.

Fans of the 1998 drama would remember the glory of the show and its star-studded cast, but they would surely be surprised that Baldwin almost appeared in it as he was the first choice for one major role.

Alec Baldwin Was The First Choice For Mr. Big In S*x and the City

S*x and the City ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2004 and it followed Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw and her friends as they explore Manhattan’s dating scene. Unfortunately, despite its popularity among viewers, it was canceled due to financial disputes.

‘Wolfs’ Review: George Clooney and Brad Pitt Are Rival Fixers in a Winning Action Comedy Spiked With Movie-Star Chemistry
Image
The movie-stars-are-over era has been overstated. If audiences are now drawn to movies not for stars but for franchise concepts, I’m not sure how to fit the career of Timothée Chalamet into that; Emma Stone and Zendaya would also like a word. That said, when you watch George Clooney and Brad Pitt in “Wolfs,” a clever, airy, winningly light-fingered and debonair action comedy about two rival fixers who have to learn to work together, you’d be forgiven for describing the sensation you feel as movie-star nostalgia.

These two have been stars since the ’90s, and no one, least of all themselves, is pretending that they’re young. Yet no one makes aging into the new cool more than they do. Clooney is the rare actor who has always worn his gray like the essence of glamour, and now, at 63, with a silver beard and hair not just two-tone but marbled,...

7 Shows Like ‘Emily in Paris’ to Watch While You Wait for Season 4 Part 2
Image
“Emily in Paris” Season 4 delivered just the right amount of chaos, high fashion and whimsy we needed as the summer comes to a close.

But, with just five episodes in Season 4 Part 1, this season of the Netflix drama is ready to be binged in mere hours. Luckily, Part 2, which will include the latter five episodes of Season 4, will return on Sept. 12.

In the meantime, “Emily in Paris” creator Darren Star has plenty of lighter fare shows full of great fashion from “Sex and the City” — and its later offshoot “The Carrie Dairies” — to “Younger.” If you watch the Lily Collins-lead series for escapism, campy comedies like “Dollface” or “Drop Dead Diva” might also scratch the whimsical itch.

Keep on reading for the seven shows like “Emily in Paris” you should watch while you wait for Part 2 to drop.

‘Twilight Of The Warriors: Walled In’ Ending Explained: Is It Based On Real-Life Kowloon City?
Image
Bringing together the bright neon lights so associated with 1980s Hong Kong, an intricately constructed dark and grim underbelly of the city, and satisfyingly exaggerated action perhaps makes the perfect combination for entertainment. The new Chinese action thriller film from Hong Kong, Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, proves this point brilliantly, and it is really no wonder that the film has already become the second-highest-grossing domestic film in the Chinese state. When an illegal immigrant named Chan Lok-kwun ends up in the Kowloon Walled City, he starts to become part of the criminal underbelly until some threatening revelations are made about his identity. The intricate detailing and grand production, a range of Hong Kong superstars all appearing together, and, of course, the amazingly choreographed action scenes make Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In an absolute must-watch for fans of Asian action flicks.

Nyaff Review: Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In Offers Phenomenal Sets and Creative Stunts
Image
The apartment complexes making up what used to be Kowloon Walled City effectively sealed it off from the rest of Hong Kong. Soi Cheang’s Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In imagines Kowloon as a kind of steampunk ghetto controlled by an aging gangster known as Cyclone (Louis Koo).

Cyclone’s domain is a marvel of production design (by Ip Man‘s Kwok-Keung Mak) and art direction (by Sai-Hung Chow). Cables snake through alleyways and up walls. Clouds of steam billow over clogged drains and trash cans burst with refuse. The homeless perch on corrugated roofing overlooking perpetually gloomy courtyards. They sleep in dingy doorways and stairways, gather around communal TVs, pushing past each other on endless delivery runs.

Part of a wave of Mainland China refugees, Chan Lok Kwun (Raymond Lam) needs an ID card to avoid deportation. He wins a bare-knuckle brawl in a nightclub, only to be...

Image
And Just Like That... will return with its third season following the Sex and the City beloved characters Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte. After a brief cameo in the reboot's Season 2 finale, Kim Cattrall addressed whether she'll return for the upcoming season, too.

On X, Kim Cattrall confirmed she won't return for And Just Like That... Season 3. Cattrall played fan-favorite character Samantha Jones in the original Sex and the City series between 1998 to 2004 and its two subsequent films, released in theaters in 2008 and 2010. However, the actress didn't return to the revival series, which follows Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and several newcomers as they handle life in New York in their 50s, dealing with a complete set of problems.

Did Carrie and Aidan End Up Together in And Just Like That...?
Image
The following contains spoilers for And Just Like That... Season 2, streaming on Max.

Carrie's grief over losing Big led to a surprising rekindled romance with Aidan in Season 2 of And Just Like That... Despite attempts to paint Aidan as her endgame, Carrie and Aidan struggled with deep-rooted differences and old wounds. The open-ended Season 2 finale left viewers questioning the fate of Carrie and Aidan's relationship and whether they will be back in Season 3.

Carrie Bradshaw's arc on And Just Like That focused on grief after losing the love of her life, John "Big" Preston. When she was finally ready to move on, Season 2 introduced another big love in her life -- her former fianc, Aidan Shaw. While there were many instances where the Sex and the City revival show didn't honor the original characters, what shocked audiences most was the show's attempt to dismiss Big as Carrie's true soulmate...

“It was a racial decision”: After Losing Out to Patrick Stewart for a Black Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, The Same Actor Also Lost Out on Playing Han Solo in Star Wars
Image
Hollywood was conceived in the interim period between the silent era and the talkies, when a multiple studio system collectively decided to turn art into business. Star Trek and Star Wars were born a few years later when Jules Verne’s science-fiction popularity merged with the global Space Race frenzy.

Starting off as a wild idea, both IPs took off after the fantastical elements of the intergalactic adventures catered to the audience’s demands of the era. But little did one know how influential and phenomenal these franchises would grow to be, exceeding the limits of a studio-owned IP and becoming the franchise of the people.

Studio Politics Stands in the Way of Art & Expression

While numerous decisions factor into the making of a film or television project, one thing remains fairly constant: casting the perfect actor for the job.

Peter Collins, Rush and Queensrÿche Producer, Dead at 73
Image
British producer Peter Collins, known for his work with Rush and Queensrÿche, has died at the age of 73.

Collins was perhaps best known for his production credits on four Rush albums in the 1980s and ’90s: Power Windows (1985), Hold Your Fire (1987), Counterparts (1993), and Test for Echo (1996).

He also notably produced Queensrÿche’s biggest albums — 1988’s Operation: Mindcrime and 1990’s Empire — as well as Alice Cooper’s 1991 LP Hey Stoopid, Suicidal Tendencies’ The Art of Rebellion (1992), and Bon Jovi’s These Days (1995).

Outside of metal and hard rock, Collins was behind the boards on numerous hits throughout the 1980s by the likes of Nik Kershaw, Musical Youth, Tracey Ullman, Alvin Stardust, and Gary Moore.

Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, as well as the band’s official account, paid tribute to the late producer on social media.

Lee posted the following in remembrance of Collins:

“So sad to hear of the passing of Peter Collins.

Mr. Big Unveil New Song and Video “Up on You”: Stream
Image
Mr. Big have released the video for “Up on You” — the second single from their forthcoming album Ten, out July 12th.

The track is an accomplished hard-rock strutter bolstered by crystal-clear production and the ace performances typical of Mr. Big. The band has some fun with a descending scale and some pop flare in the chorus, while singer Eric Martin exercises his impressive vocal range throughout the track.

Meanwhile, the music video lets us in on a Mr. Big concert staple — the ol’ “Switcheroo” — where the band trade instruments at the end of the set. In the case of this clip, all four members of the band are seen playing each instrument and singing.

As Martin explained: “I’m on bass, Billy sings, Nick plays guitar and Paul rocks the drums… it’s a lot of fun and the crowd goes wild. So the concept for the video was simple:...

Mr. Big Announce New Album Ten, Release Lead Single “Good Luck Trying”: Stream
Image
Mr. Big have announced their 10th studio album, simply titled Ten, which arrives July 12th.

The hard rock vets also offered up lead single “Good Luck Trying.” The song is built around a strutting blues riff from guitarist Paul Gilbert and unfurls at a fast pace. If the verses carry a heavy Led Zeppelin vibe, then the slowed-down chorus is more Bad Company, opening up space for frontman Eric Martin’s strong vocal delivery.

“Overall, it’s about being overwhelmed with life, and realizing that you won’t win many of the battles, but still fighting to the end,” stated Gilbert on the lyrics. “And keeping a sense of humor about it by saying to anyone nearby, ‘Wish me good luck trying!'”

Ten was produced by Jay Ruston and Mr. Big. The band’s lineup features Martin, Gilbert, and Billy Sheehan alongside drummer Nick D’Virgilio,...

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In review – frenetic actioner in infamous Kowloon neighbourhood
Raymond Lam
Cannes film festival

The choreography is impressive as people are hurled through walls, thrown off rooftops and otherwise beaten to a pulp, but the editing is frenetic and the characters cartoonish

Hong Kong’s Kowloon Walled City – once the most densely populated place on Earth – is the perfect movie setting: a Piranesian labyrinth of squalid high rises and dark, cramped alleys, teeming with crooks, lowlifes, addicts and impoverished families running small businesses, legit and otherwise. This 1980s-set action epic lovingly, meticulously recreates the notorious neighbourhood (which was demolished in 1994), but sadly, the backdrop is more interesting than the story.

At heart it’s a tale of a Chinese immigrant caught between rival gangs. Street fighter Chan Lok-kwan (Raymond Lam) is initially scammed by local triad boss Mr Big (a cigar-smoking caricature from veteran Jackie Chan sidekick Sammo Hung). Chan retaliates by stealing a package and, after a great bus-top chase scene,...

Sex And The City: Where Do The Main Characters Live?
Image
The iconic show Sex and the City is still relevant today, with its characters and New York City setting crucial to its success. Each character's home reflects their personality and lifestyle, from Carrie's eclectic apartment to Samantha's colorful living spaces. The show not only explores romance and friendship but also showcases different neighborhoods and the luxury of living in New York City.

More than two decades have passed since the release of Sex and the City, and viewers are still obsessed with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha. This is not a surprise, because the friends continue to be a reference on feminism, sexuality and fashion. However, as much as the show was lauded for its characters and core theme during its initial 1998-2004 run, its sense of place was just as important, with "the city" in its title being just as important as "the sex".

10 Harsh Realities Of Rewatching Sex And The City 26 Years Later
Image
Carrie's relationship with Mr. Big falls short of the hype, proving he's not marriage material despite their ups and downs. Miranda and Steve's doomed relationship pales in comparison to her chemistry with Dr. Robert, showing it was never meant to last. Charlotte loses her adventurous edge after marrying Trey, showcasing a change in character and priorities throughout the series.

While there are moments in the Sex and the City series that feel timeless, there are harsh realities of rewatching the series 26 years later. The show follows a group of friends in their 30s and 40s living in New York City in the late '90s through early '00s. It focuses on their friendship and their experiences dating in the city, focusing on their long-term relationships as the show progresses.

The show is based on Candace Bushnell's novel of the same name. It was originally published as a series...

And Just Like That Season 3 Loses Second Major Cast Member Ahead Of Filming Start
Image
And Just Like That season 3 faces another major cast departure after Sara Ramirez's exit. Karen Pittman, who played Dr. Nya Wallace, won't reprise her role due to scheduling conflicts. Despite being a series regular in season 2, Nya Wallace didn't receive many strong storylines.

And Just Like That season 3 is losing another major cast member. The Sex and the City sequel show, which premiered in 2021, began with major casting shakeups when Kim Cattrall declined to return as Samantha Jones, Chris Noth's character Mr. Big was killed off in the premiere, and Stanford Blatch actor Willie Garson passed away midway through filming. While season 2 managed to keep a consistent cast, and even featured a brief cameo from Cattrall, it was announced in February that Sara Ramirez would not be returning as Miranda's (Cynthia Nixon) divisive love interest Che Diaz in season 3.

Per Deadline, And Just Like That season 3 has now...

‘Road House’ Review: Jake Gyllenhaal Takes Command in an Ultraviolent Retread That Makes Slumming Look Artful
Image
“Road House” is an infectiously stylish piece of slumming. It’s a remake of the 1989 Patrick Swayze cheeseball action cult film, and it’s staged with a verve and wit and dynamic grittiness that make the original film look even more rickety than it once did. Doug Liman, the director of the new “Road House,” has always been a gifted maverick, but I still like his earliest films the best. For years now, he has worked hard to make interesting and responsible dramas, but watching “Road House” you can taste how good it must have felt for him to be irresponsible — to give in to his savage B-movie id.

The action in “Road House” is beyond brutal; at moments, it’s vicious. Yet if the movie is far more violent than your average action film, in its slightly crackpot bare-knuckle way it’s also more humane. Liman stages the pulp...

Shrew From Zootopia: Why The Godfather-Like Disney Villain Is Darker Than You Think
Image
Mr. Big in Zootopia is a clever parody of powerful mob bosses, with his tiny Arctic shrew species symbolizing his vicious nature. The character's references to The Godfather and mafia movie cliches add humor and depth to his portrayal in the film. Fru Fru, Mr. Big's daughter, is a parody of The Real Housewives, adding another layer of pop culture humor to the story.

The shrew from Zootopia is named Mr. Big and there's a reason the diminutive animal was picked to represent a violent and powerful underworld boss. The Disney animated buddy (bunny) cop film Zootopia is packed with inside jokes and clever references that reward watching the film and pausing on certain scenes just to get a laugh or reference the animators and writers managed to squeeze in. Zootopia pulls from both Disney's own expansive catalog of movies and film history to parody without distracting from the main story.

The Worst James Bond Character Ever Was Inspired by a Series of Car Commercials
Image
Even the most die-hard 007 fans know that James Bond movies don’t always hit. There’s the yellow face of You Only Live Twice, the pigeon double-take in Moonraker, the surfing in Die Another Day. But never has the franchise done worse than when a certain Louisiana police officer bumbles into the otherwise solid Live and Let Die.

Yes, I’m talking about Sheriff J.W. Pepper, a loudmouth distraction who sort of makes sense in the American-set Live and Let Die, but then he somehow also shows up in Thailand to further drag down The Man With the Golden Gun.

Modern viewers meeting the character for the first time today will likely be confused by Pepper’s shtick. But to the viewers of the early 1970s, Pepper not only hit as a funny joke, but he was very much in line with Bond’s history of pop culture Johnny-come-latelyisms.

James Bond's Most Upsetting Scene Is In The Wrong Movie
Image
Licence to Kill is considered the darkest James Bond film and includes a gruesome shark attack scene, which some argue should have been in a different Bond movie. Bond seeks revenge against drug lord Franz Sanchez for maiming his friend Felix Leiter and killing Leiter's wife, drawing on past events from the Bond canon. If the shark attack scene had been included in Live and Let Die, it would have made the Roger Moore era less campy, while leaving it out of Licence to Kill would have made the Dalton era less dark and gory.

The darkest scene from the James Bond franchise was a perfect addition to the series, but it should’ve been included in a different movie. There are plenty of grim, violent, unsettling sequences in the Bond films, from 007 being tortured on a seatless chair in Casino Royale to 007 kicking a car full of people...

And Just Like That Season 3 Delay Is Good For Carrie (& Sets Up A Better Ending Than Satc)
Image
And Just Like That season 3 will have a longer wait, releasing in 2025, but this delay could set up a better ending for Carrie. The delay could allow the series to address the criticism that Carrie can't be alone, showing her living happily single for years. The long hiatus could give Carrie a break from drama and suffering, potentially leading to a happy ending with Aidan.

And Just Like That... will return with season 3 with a bit of a delay, but that might be a good thing for Carrie. The Sex and the City revival premiered in 2021, bringing Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte back, with only Samantha missing from the original lineup, giving the girls new stories as they were living it up in New York in their 50s. Even though And Just Like That was originally meant to be a miniseries, the revival returned with season 2 after it became HBO Max's most streamed show.
