Emmy-winning comedy writer-producer Jeff Greenstein has inked a two-year overall deal with Touchstone Television. Under the seven-figure pact, Greenstein will develop projects for the studio. Touchstone Television has restructured its comedy and drama development departments following a major shake-up at the top of the studio this year. Julia Franz, who was promoted to executive vp creative affairs in June following the appointment in April of Mark Pedowitz as Touchstone TV president, has promoted Nina Howie and Jodie Platt to vp comedy series. Channing Dungey has been appointed vp drama series, while Michael McDonald has been appointed executive director. Howie and Platt report to vp comedy series Alex Weinberger. Dungey and McDonald report to senior vp drama series Morgan Wandell.
