One of my favorite moments on stage was when I was performing August Strindberg's "A Dream Play" in China at the Beijing Academy of Drama to an audience of a thousand people. It was an international festival so not everyone in the house spoke English. My character said something funny during one of the scenes and the entire audience understood it and roared in laughter. It was a true moment of theater. I was in shock for a split second and kept going.
