Exclusive: Tony winner and Blue Bloods star Len Cariou and UnREAL‘s Craig Bierko will co-star in Harry Townsend’s Last Stand, a new Off Broadway play set for a limited run this fall at New York City Center.
Written by George Eastman and directed by Karen Carpenter, the new play is set for City Center’s Stage II for a strictly limited engagement beginning previews November 18 and opening December 4.
Producer Dennis Grimaldi announced the production today.

Aidan Quinn (CBS’ Elementary) has been cast in a lead role of Signature Theatre’s upcoming Off Broadway revival of Horton Foote’s Pulitzer Prize-winning The Young Man From Atlanta.
The production will be directed by Michael Wilson (The Orphans’ Home Cycle), and is set to begin previews at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center on Nov. 5, with an opening night of Nov. 24. The engagement runs through Dec. 8.
Signature announced the casting today. In addition to Quinn, the previously announced production will feature Devon Abner, Dan Bittner, Pat Bowie, Kristine Nielsen, Jon Orsini and Larry Pine. Additional casting will be determined at a later date.

Today, The Collaborator Party, headed by theatrical sound designers Lindsay Jones and John Gromada, announced that their event was a complete sell-out for the third year in a row. The Collaborator Party is the official Tony night party for the theatre sound community and all of their collaborators. The main party was held June 11, 2016 at Houston Hall 222 W. Today, theatrical sound designers Lindsay Jones and John Gromada announce that they will be throwing a Tony night party for the entire theatre sound community and all of their collaborators called The Collaborator Party. This will be a special event designed to celebrate the artistry of sound designers this year as well the community that has grown out of the response to the recent decision by the Tony Awards to eliminate the awards for Best Sound Design of a Play and Best Sound Design of a Musical.
