Josh Alexander has become the Longest-Reigning Impact Wrestling World Champion of All-Time. He claimed the title on April 23rd 2022, at the Rebellion pay-per-view, defeating Moose. He has now been the World Champion for 257 consecutive days, surpassing Bobby Roode’s 256-day World Championship run that started on October 26th 2011.
With his history-making title reign, Josh Alexander has established himself as one of the best pro wrestlers of all-time. It also marks an amazing, improbable and unexpected journey – from overweight, troubled teenager to the pinnacle of the pro wrestling industry, focused on perfection and nothing less. He even endured a serious neck injury along the way that required two vertebrae be fused together. Alexander, 35, made his pro wrestling debut in 2005 and was signed by Impact in early-2019. He has been the Impact X Division Champion and is a two-time Impact World Tag Team Champion as The North, a team that also was record-setting.

Welcome to this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Edge fighting Seth Rollins at Madison Square Garden. That works for me. Brock Lesnar is here…somewhere. Brock Lesnar: Ruth! Let’s f–k! Me: Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Not my butt! SmackDown starts now! Ah! Not the jimmies!
[Author’s Note: Brock Lesnar, who has been accused of sexual harassment by a former co-worker, is on this show and if that alarms or upsets you, then viewer discretion is advised]. Match #1: King Nakamura/Big E./Rick Boogs/Rey Mysterio/Dominik Mysterio b. Otis/Bobby Roode/Dolph Ziggler/Sami Zayn/Apollo Crews The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Prior to Big E, The Mysterios, King Nakamura & Rick Boogs’10-Man Tag Team Match against Sami Zayn, Apollo Crews, Otis, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, The Master Strategist introduced Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks in order to give his team the edge in the Madison Square Garden showdown. But in the final moments of the action, Young got caught interfering, and the official sent him to the backstage area.

Welcome, one and all, to part two the second annual Nerdly WWE Top 50! I began this idea last year. Our version of such established ranking lists as the “Pwi 500” and the like, but just with WWE in mind. I mean, I watch other products and promotions, like Aew, New Japan, Ring of Honor and Nwa, but… sticking to one promotion, the promotion I tend to watch the most, makes sense, and makes this one-man-job a lot easier to do. This list will cover the last twelve months, from September 2019 until August of 2020.
Like last year, this will take into account work-rate, match-quality, visibility of the workers on television, their promo work, but also… and this is important to note, the way that they’ve been used. You see… there are men and women in WWE who, if they were used more often and booked in a more substantial manner, would...

Samoa Joe's suspension will end just before WrestleMania 36 ...
WWE has suspended Samoa Joe for 30 days stemming from his first violation of the company's talent wellness policy; WWE announced the suspension on Monday via its Twitter account.
WWE has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.https://t.co/3PiiutkI32
— WWE (@WWE) February 25, 2020
Samoa Joe has been out of action after suffering a head injury while shooting a commercial earlier this month. Prior to that head injury, Samoa Joe had suffered a concussion on Raw in January, which kept him out of action. While injured, Joe had been filling in on WWE's commentary team up until he was cleared to return to in-ring action and he began teaming with Kevin Owens.
Samoa Joe is the third wrestler this year to be suspended under the talent wellness policy.

A battle of 30 women. A battle of 30 men. Two winners are on their way to WrestleMania. So who won and what surprises did we get?
It’s January and now that the holidays are over with and the Wrestle Kingdom has closed it borders, wrestling fans can look forward to the most exciting PPV WWE tends to put out on an annual basis. That’s right, it’s time for WWE Royal Rumble 2020, the show that acts as the beginning to the Road to WrestleMania, but is honestly better to sit through. Introduced in 1988, the Royal Rumble event has been a major cog in the company’s calendar, centered around its mostly-unpredictable 30-man match.
This year’s show will be the third event to feature two Royal Rumble matches. One for the men and one for the women. It just so happens that the men’s match...

The WWE has suspended Robert Roode and Primo Colón for violating the company’s wellness policy.
The wrestlers will be put on the bench for 30 days each, as this is the first violation for both men. Roode and Colón are signed to the company’s “Friday Night SmackDown” brand.
“WWE has suspended Eddie Colón (Primo) and Robert Roode each for 30 days effective immediately, for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Welcome to this week’s SmackDown review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this show has really sucked since…2003. 2009 was quite good, but that didn’t last too long. How hard is it to just have six long matches on a two hour show? We’ve got the final SmackDown before Survivor Series, so this better be good or I’ll go all Dora The Explorer on Vince’s ass.

WWE rosters will shake up after SmackDown moves to Fox ...
WWE is re-shuffling the deck.
The company announced on Sunday — during Fox's NFL broadcast — that there will be a draft to shake up the rosters beginning on Oct. 11, one week after SmackDown moves to the Fox network.
What's interesting about this move is SmackDown will be the first night of the draft, with it concluding on Raw three days later on Oct. 14. There have been rumblings that WWE will treat SmackDown as the "A" show after it moves to Fox, airing in primetime every Friday night.
Fox will reach more potential households than USA Network, the home for Raw.
The press release that followed the announcement noted that the company will feature "distinct casts" on each of its shows. The release also plugged that Raw and SmackDown will have "unique storylines and dedicated writing teams."

May 29, 2014. The date of the very first Nxt TakeOver show. Man… that was over five years ago, and in the time since that show aired live in the WWE Network, we’ve seen so much change. Not just in Nxt, but in WWE in general and in the world of pro-wrestling. Going back to that first show highlights not only how much has changed, but how far Nxt as a brand has come. It’s about to go live every week on the USA Network as a two-hour show, head-to-head with the first potential wrestling competition to WWE in years, Aew. The landscape of wrestling is different now. Going back, for the sake of this article to watch every Nxt TakeOver show was no small undertaking. There’s been 26 (28 including the UK TakeOver shows) of them to date. Still… I’m a huge fan of Nxt and it’s hardly...

The new championship can be defended anywhere, and at all times ...
WWE introduced a new championship title on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw.
Because that's what needed fixing in WWE! There needed to be more titles!
Mick Foley was brought in last night to announce WWE's new 24/7 Championship. Remember the old Hardcore title in the late-90's? It had the 24/7 rule, where it could be defended at all times, even in airports, restaurants, hotel rooms, backstage, in the ring, on a plane, on a train ... anywhere.
WWE is bringing that gimmick back, but with a new TV-pg era, they're eliminating the "hardcore" name from the title and just giving it a "24/7" name.
There were three champions "crowned" on the first night. Titus O'Neil won the title first, winning a scramble to the ring and grabbing the belt first. Bobby Roode pinned Titus O'Neil on the...

Match #1: Nxt Tag Team Champions The Viking Experience and The Revival def. Raw Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins and Aleister Black & Ricochet The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Superstar Shake-up is notable for moves between Raw and SmackDown Live, but don’t forget that some Nxt Superstars make the leap every once in a while as well. Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the Raw after Wrestlemania. Let’s see if it is a success or a failure, like my bid to buy Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling…which was a miserable failure. I’m not kidding. I actually tried to buy Tna in 2014. Anyway, here comes this review, which might just be a lot of fun…might.
Match #1: Raw Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins def. The Revival – Raw Tag Team Championship Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Curt Hawkins finally won a match at WrestleMania Kickoff — and the Raw Tag Team Titles, too, much to the chagrin of The Revival. But was Hawkins & Zack Ryder’s win a fluke or a harbinger of things to come? All indications point to the latter, as the new champions successfully defended their titles...

The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) beat Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev (w/Lana)
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was good for what it was, but the match just felt like a formality. This match had to share its TV time with some footage of The Miz ushering his father to ring-side for his match later in the card. At least they got to do a few nice moves.

Match #1: Ricochet & Aleister Black def. Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The hits just keep on coming for The Revival, who clawed their way to the top of the Tag Team division only to find several new boulders hovering precariously over their heads. Last week, Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano checked the new champions, and Dash & Dawson fared no better this week against the other half of the new Nxt contingent, Ricochet & Aleister Black. To their credit, The Revival employed a sound strategy, jumping their opponents before the bell in an attempt to get ahead of their near-uncontrollable foes.

Daniel Bryan not only had to defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, but a surprise challenger!
Well, WrestleMania is almost here! Unfortunately, before we can see what’s what that card is going to mostly look like, we have to drive through WWE Fastlane 2019. Fastlane started back in 2015 as the last major stop before WrestleMania with a main event tricking you into thinking that Roman Reigns might not main event WrestleMania 31. That was followed with a Fastlane main event that tricked you into thinking that Roman Reigns might not main event WrestleMania 32. The one that followed had Bill Goldberg beat Kevin Owens in a nonsense match meant to move the Universal Championship into a different feud. Then there was last year’s event which...man, I just looked at the results and it’s the most forgettable show in recent memory. Wow.

The Revival was ready to quit the WWE last month but on Monday Night Raw, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder finally reached the top and won the WWE Raw tag team titles. The team came in with “Ftr” on their tights and wanted to prove that they were the best tag tram in the business and did it when they beat Bobby Roode and Chad Gable for the titles in a very long, hard fought match. Match #1: Ronda Rousey def. Liv Morgan The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
If there’s one Superstar who’s angrier at Becky Lynch’s suspension than The Man, it’s Ronda Rousey. The Raw Women’s Champion was fighting mad after her WrestleMania challenger got herself sent to the bench, as the suspension could have repercussions on their match. The Riott Squad, then, played the unlucky role of Rousey’s personal punching bags, with The Baddest Woman on the Planet quickly submitting Liv Morgan.

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable beat Scott Dawson and Rezar (w/Drake Maverick) – Tag Team Match
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was standard stuff that gave these guys a few minutes to show off a few moves, but no chance to really take advantage of being at a huge event with a big crowd.
Shinsuke Nakamura (New Champion) beat Rusev (w/Lana) – U.S. Championship Match
My Take: 3 out of 5 – This was a pretty good match that saw Nakamura regain the title. I assumed that Rusev was made champion just because Nakamura’s contract might have been up, so if he has won it back then I would assume he is going to stay…maybe.

On any given Raw in 2018, you could count on Seth Rollins to routinely steal the show and take control of the conversation. 2019 is shaping up to be no different: While John Cena and Drew McIntyre had the first word of Raw’s opening 20-odd minute Six-Man Tag Team Match by way of their confrontation at the top of the show, The Kingslayer wrestled the headline right out from under them by pinning Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and setting...

Well tonight’s the night, the “fresh start” for WWE following the risible ratings of the past few weeks and the disdain the fans have for the current WWE product. Will Mr. McMahon’s appearance tonight really turn things around? Read on to find out!
Match #1: Kurt Angle, Apollo Crews & Raw Tag Team Champions Chad Gable & Bobby Roode def. Baron Corbin (No Disqualification Handicap Match) The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Never let it be said the McMahon family isn’t a sporting clan. Despite the WWE Universe’s overwhelming desire to see Baron Corbin hit the bricks, WWE’s first family gave The Lone Wolf one final chance to win the permanent Raw General Manager gig … provided he won his way back to the position. To put it lightly, it did not go well. While Corbin certainly held his own against his originally announced opponent, Kurt Angle,...

The most exciting match in WWE returns yet again. 30 men and 30 women each battle it out for supremacy at WWE Royal Rumble 2019.
Ah, that wonderful moment when WWE’s December PPV (in this case TLC) hits its copyright sendoff screen. That means it’s Royal Rumble season! The most wonderful time of the year to be a WWE wrestling fan! Screw WrestleMania because it’s time for WWE Royal Rumble 2019! It’s time for that unpredictable 30-man match where the winner gets their high-profile title shot. It’s been a January tradition ever since 1988 and 2018’s edition changed it up a bit by debuting WWE’s first every all-women’s Royal Rumble match.
Then they did a separate, 50-man Royal Rumble a few months later as part of Saudi propaganda. That was...interesting. Hey, at least Titus O’Neil fell down in that one part.
As always,...

Welcome to this weeks review on WWE Raw… a show that has made me dread Monday night TV. Although the online buzz about this episode has got me a little more interested in the show than in recent weeks.
Match #1: Bobby Roode & Chad Gable def. Aop & Drake Maverick in a 2-on-3 Handicap to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
After Aop attacked Chad Gable backstage during a match between Bobby Roode and Drake Maverick last week, Baron Corbin turned that singles bout into an impromptu 2-on-3 Handicap Match that allowed Maverick to pick up a humiliating win over The Glorious One. Though Aop looked strong in the height of their Raw Tag Team Championship Match this week, Maverick’s cocky nature sank his team team’s title reign. When he made the mistake of requesting a tag and obnoxiously mocking Roode’s glorious pose,...

Welcome to this weeks review of Raw, the WWE’s “flagship” show which is – currently – getting so bad that I’m considering switching to a highlight reel for these reviews. Anyway… let’s see if this weeks episode can turn things, and my opinion, round!
Match #1: Bobby Lashley def. Elias The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
“All Mighty” or not, even Bobby Lashley needs a hand sometimes. Faced with a gritty challenge from Elias, Lashley found himself bailed out by “General Manager-Elect” Baron Corbin when The Lone Wolf turned the match into a No Disqualification bout after Elias connected with a top-rope elbow drop and Lio Rush broke up a surefire three-count by yanking the ref out of the ring. That opened the door for Drew McIntyre and Corbin to join in on a 3-on-1 beatdown too savage for The Living Truth to overcome. Off the strength of...

Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox, who didn’t even have a win heading into Week 10 of Mixed Match Challenge, miraculously pulled off a huge victory over Bobby Roode & Natalya. As a result, they live to see another day when the WWE Mmc playoffs begin next week. The SmackDown women's title took it to the extreme. Who won? We have the results.
Now that Survivor Series gave us a decisive winner in the Raw vs. SmackDown war, we move on to WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs 2018. This will be the tenth installment of the annual PPV, as long as you count the head-scratching TLC: Tables, Ladders, Chairs...and Stairs from 2014. Otherwise, the PPV revolves around a match that features tables, ladders, and chairs. Sometimes this is really just a dressed-up hardcore match. Sometimes it’s just a ladder match with extra weapons. A lot of the time, the show also features ladder matches, chair matches, and so on.
Last year’s show was weird as hell due to Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt being forced off the show to illness, giving us Kurt Angle as a member of the Shield and mercy killing...

Match #1: The Usos survive as Team SmackDown def. Team Raw in a 10-on-10 Tag Team Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Kickoff Match) The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Under the captainship of The Usos, the blue brand’s Tag Team division came to win in the Survivor Series 2018 Kickoff, defeating Monday Night Raw in a 10-on-10 Tag Team Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. After targeting Kalisto’s knee and ankle in the early goings, the aggressive Epico suffered The Revival’s Shatter Machine, giving Team Red the early advantage by eliminating both members of The Colons. The hobbled King of Flight, meanwhile, was replaced on the apron by his Lucha House Party cohort Gran Metalik.

Match #1: Tamina def. Ember Moon The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Ember Moon lost a friend and gained an enemy last week when Nia Jax threw in with Tamina to lay a beating on The War Goddess; this week, she lost again in the more traditional sense in a match against The Irresistible Force’s powerful enforcer. It was something of an upset for the former Nxt Women’s Champion, too: Moon spent the majority of the match running circles around Tamina, but Nia’s interference stopped The Shenom from delivering the Eclipse and allowed Tamina to superkick Ember off the top rope. Tamina went high in response, finishing Moon off with a splash. Pointedly, Raw Women’s Captain Alexa...

Raw faces SmackDown in elimination tag matches and title vs title bouts at WWE Survivor Series 2018. We got the results!
WWE’s endless PPV event schedule has started to subside. They’re done stacking shows together like doing the all-woman Evolution a few days before the no-woman Crown Jewel. Now they’re bringing everything together for WWE Survivor Series 2018. As one of the Big 4 PPVs for WWE, Survivor Series has been around since 1987, even if it’s seen as probably the least important. Sure, it’s given us plenty of memorable moments like the Montreal Screwjob, the Undertaker’s first title win, and even the Rock’s first appearance, but it’s also tied to a match type that is no longer treated as a big deal in the scheme of things.
Since the brand extension hit a couple years ago, Survivor Series has based itself around Raw vs.

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Raw… The go-home show for the controversial Crown Jewel pay per view which takes place this Friday.
Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Bobby Lashley via Disqualification The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Last week, Finn Bálor embarrassed Bobby Lashley with a flash pin that came so out of nowhere it bordered on an upset. Clearly, The Rocky Mountain-Made Machine was not going to let that happen again. Lashley wasn’t out for victory in their rematch so much as vindication, even shrugging off a disqualification loss — Lio Rush knocked Finn off the top rope while he was setting up the Coup de Grâce — to ensnare the Irishman in a full nelson while Rush talked trash and slapped Bálor repeatedly across the face.
My Take: If the WWE are looking to make Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush two of the most hated...

In a WWE Mmc showdown between Raw tandems, Natalya emerged in one of Bobby Roode’s robes, signaling some strong Team Paws comradery as they prepared to take on the impressive team of B’N’B. After Bayley politely refused her friend Nattie’s toy cat ears, Bálor and Roode decided to try on each other’s gear and catchphrases. As they removed this attire, Natayla and Bayley took over, feeling each other out in a battle for momentum which ended when Roode tagged himself in to prevent Natayla from diving outside the ring after Bayley and led to an intense back-and-forth between him and Bálor. As the action continued,...
Match #1: Finn Bálor & Bayley def. Bobby Roode & Natalya The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Welcome to this week’s Mixed Match Challenge review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more torture for me and some-thing else to read for you. I hope this is better than other editions of this show.
Match #1: The Miz & Asuka def. Rusev & Lana The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Defending Mmc Champions The Miz & Asuka looked to continue their undefeated streak as they squared off against Rusev & Lana, who were searching for a boost in this round-robin competition. The match started off with Lana refusing to back down to the always-imposing Asuka. All four Superstars then looked for the WWE Universe’s approval with The Empress of Tomorrow being cheered the loudest by the D.C. crowd. Rusev & Lana continued to take the fight to the Mmc juggernauts, with Lana even busting out with a dive to the outside on her opposition.

Welcome to the debut of The Last Week in Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. We’re combining the WWE Week In Review and the Nerdly Wrestling Awards into one weekly column that will perform the function of both. With Phil covering Raw, Smackdown and Impact, this will give me the chance to get all my stuff out in one sitting. I’ll give you my ratings for all of the matches before I give you my thoughts on the each league.
As for the Nerdly Wrestling Awards, that’s getting moved to just the end of the year and maybe we’ll have some goofy looking trophies to hand out then… to no one. Also, I apologize for all of my bad reviews last week… because they sucked. If you don’t remember, they were pretty much just obnoxious for the sake of being so. I liked the Wendy Williams eye joke,...

WWE prizefighter Kevin Owens is out of Season 2 of Facebook Watch series “Mixed Match Challenge” with a knee injury, according to WWE.
Natalya’s new male partner on Team Paws will be Bobby Roode.
Owens suffered his injury during his “Raw” match against Bobby Lashley on Monday, the pro-wrestling promotion said.

This WWE injury bug has been going around the locker rooms: Alexa Bliss also had to bow out of “Mmc” after getting hurt, as did Sasha Banks.
Roode is not a newbie to the mixed-tag format: He and Charlotte Flair teamed together on Season 1 of the live streaming series.
The new-look Team Paws faces Lashley and Mickie James on Tuesday’s episode of “Mixed Match Challenge.” James is actually the one that replaced Banks in the competition after The Boss’s injury.

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Shwan Michaels! Shwan? It’s Shawn! Shwan versus Shawn… I smell money!
Match #1: Braun Strowman def. Dean Ambrose via Disqualification The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Could Dean Ambrose beat Braun Strowman? He certainly came close when he planted The Monster Among Men with a surprise Dirty Deeds after a long, grueling bout that was going Strowman’s way until The Lunatic Fringe up and dropped his foe with the double-arm Ddt that once won Ambrose the WWE Championship. But it wasn’t enough: Strowman kicked out of the pinfall, rolled out of the ring and (despite a frantic follow-up from Ambrose) quickly turned the proceedings from a match into a statement beating — one so severe Roman Reigns appeared to run interference, clocking Stroman with a Superman Punch that led...

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and if you’ve read my recent Raw reviews, you can expect the grea… absolutely nothing good.
Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Jinder Mahal The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Next week, Finn Bálor & Bayley (aka Team B&B) will make their Mixed Match Challenge debut, while Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox (aka Mahalicia) will suit up tomorrow. If what happened on Raw is any indication, the latter duo might have their work cut out for them, as a remarkable combination of events left Mahal defeated in both body and mind, briefly shattering The Maharaja’s hard-won serenity before he pulled himself together. To begin, there was the tension between Alicia and Sunil Singh in Mahal’s corner, which threw off the delicate balance that The Modern Day Maharaja works so hard to maintain. Then,...

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Renee Young is still here, so Coachman is not. Ain’t you happy? Twern’t nuthin’.
Match #1: Raw Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre def. Dean Ambrose The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Dean Ambrose has made it a point to target Drew McIntyre during almost every scrap the two have been involved in since his return. Tonight, The Lunatic Fringe got his wish — and suffered the consequences, as the former WWE Champion was defeated by The Scottish Terminator in a match that took both Superstars to the limit one night after a marathon show-stealer for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Between the lingering effects of the tag team match and their brawl atop Hell in a Cell, both Superstars were banged-up and Ambrose took advantage with a focused attack on McIntyre’s left leg.

Welcome to this week’s Monday Night Raw review, right here on Nerdly. In Nathan’s absence I’ll be bringing you a review of this weeks episode, which comes complete with commentary from Renee Young… Just like last time I reviewed Raw, only this time Renne Young is now a Regular on commentary!
Match #1: Nicki Bella def. Ruby Riott The following is courtesy of WWE.com
Following a petty act of locker-room vandalism, Nikki Bella knocked off Ruby Riott in a singles victory that built nicely upon The Bella Twins’ win over Ruby’s two henchwomen, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan. That Nikki used her powerhouse style to get past Ruby’s wild brawling would be impressive enough, but given that The Riott Squad was lurking at ringside, the former Divas Champion kept having to turn her attention to her would-be interlopers. A haymaker made quick work of Logan on the apron,...

Welcome to this edition of WWE Week In Review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a few things to cover, so let’s do so.
Worst Promo:
The Jinder Mahal/Bobby Lashley promo was bad, but not because either man was bad in it. The promo itself was constructed badly, but since Lashley was able to do a good job, it wasn’t so bad.
Best Promo:
The Shawn Michaels/Undertaker promo was great and had all of the intricacies that Michaels became known for when he returned in 2002.
Worst Moment:
Bobby Roode is stuck in the tag team division with a great athlete in Chad Gable. This team could work, but Roode should be fighting for the Universal Title right now, not doing tag work.
Best Moment:
Drake Maverick became the new manager for the Author of Pain. The Aop needed a manager and...

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have an interesting night to get to, so let’s do so.
Match #1: The Bella Twins def. The Riott Squad The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Only one night into The Bella Twins’ comeback run, and it’s already time for a Bellabration. Nikki & Brie knocked off The Riott Squad in the twins’ first match on Raw in almost three years, and the two former Divas Champions were in rare form from the second the bell rang. With Nikki leading a coordinated attack on Sarah Logan’s shoulders and Brie raining “Yes!” kicks on her sternum, it took a ringside interference from Ruby Riott to give the Squad its first leg up of the match. Brie found herself isolated by Morgan & Logan, but a last-second tag brought a red-hot Nikki back into the fray.

Welcome to this week’s Monday Night Raw review, right here on Nerdly. This week, Ronda Rousey makes her wrestling debut in the main event against Alicia Fox. Be afraid potato chips… be very afraid.
Match #1: Roman Reigns def. Constable Baron Corbin The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Last week, Brock Lesnar laid waste to anything that moved (including Paul Heyman) with two notable exceptions: Roman Reigns, because he had been kicked out of the building, and Constable Baron Corbin, who hit the bricks before he could be relocated to Suplex City. Corbin wasn’t so lucky this week, as Raw General Manager Kurt Angle placed The Constable in a match against Reigns following a show-opening confrontation between the three in which The Big Dog demanded — and received — assurances he would still get his Universal Title Match with Lesnar at SummerSlam. Corbin proved to be as wily as ever in the bout,...
