Bobby Rahal was born on January 10, 1953 in Medina, Ohio, USA. He is a producer, known for Stars of Tomorrow (2003), Formula 1 (1950) and ABC Sports (1961). He has been married to Johanna Maher since September 30, 2006. He was previously married to Debi.
Won the 1986 Indianapolis 500 for Jim Trueman's TrueSports team. Trueman died 11 days later.
Bobby's son Graham Rahal is a championship Champ Car driver, and other
relative Gerald Rahal is also an amateur race driver.
Inducted into the City of Columbus [Ohio] Hall of Fame.
CART/PPG Indycar World Series Champion (1986, 1987 and 1992) and Indianapolis 500 winner (1986).
There was a change of direction in 1992 Formula Indy, when he joined former Can-Am, car owner Carl Hogan, to create Rahal-Hogan Racing.
