Kristy Starling
Kristy Starling was a shy child with a case of stage fright. Her
parents encouraged her to sing when they recognized her talent. She
sang in church and school productions. She went on to college majoring
in music. One day, she heard about a singing competition on NBC's Today
show though her mother-in-law. She sent in a tape and was chosen along
with six other finalists. Kristy took second place and caught the
attention of David Foster, which led to the production of her debut
album released in Spring 2003.
