In the wake of the Friends pseudo-reunion last month, we've learned some pretty dark stuff about the actors who brought to life our favorite galère of Clinton-era, New York-dwelling attractive young people. Matthew Perry doesn't remember filming several seasons of the show, and now it has been revealed that Matt LeBlanc went through "a dark period" post-Friends. Speaking with The Mirror, the 48-year-old actor says he almost had a "nervous breakdown." His daughter, Marina, was diagnosed in 2004 with cortical dysplasia, a birth abnormality that affects brain development and motors skills. Two years later he separated from his wife, Melissa McKnight, at the same time his Friends spin-off Joey was tanking. "I was burnt out," he said. "I wanted to not have a schedule, not be somewhere. I was in a position to do that. My agent was bummed. Most actors call their agents and say, 'What's going on?' I'd...

Matt LeBlanc thinks his marriage was "doomed". The 43-year-old actor, who split from spouse Melissa McKnight in 2006, almost three years after they wed, believes the stress of working on his flop sit-com "Joey" and caring for their sick daughter Marina, now six, meant their union was never going to have a happy ending.
"The stress of the show not working took its toll on me, it took its toll on my marriage," he admitted. "My marriage was maybe doomed anyway, I don't know. My daughter was diagnosed with a problem with her head and we had a nanny who sold the story about her to the papers. It was a very dark period. But I got through it. Don't they say what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger?"
Matt, who remains on good terms with Melissa, shares equal custody of Marina and decided to take a five-year gap out...

Former "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc is on the verge of a major TV comeback after taking a break from Hollywood to nurse his daughter through a brain disorder and concentrate on a punky hairdo. The actor, who made his millions as clueless Joey in the hit sitcom, dropped out of the spotlight in 2006 when his spin-off show "Joey" was canceled.
But Le Blanc, who is the star of critically acclaimed new U.S. cable show "Episodes", insists he hasn't been idle. He tells TV Guide magazine, "When 'Joey' ended, it was a weird time in my life. I'd gotten divorced (from actress Melissa McKnight), and my daughter had been diagnosed with this weird brain thing. Now she's out of the woods with all that stuff. But it was a really stressful time."
"I just didn't want to have to be anywhere, do anything - just be a dad and ride my dirt bikes.

And now he's back sporting a new grey look: "I started going grey very young, and I started dyeing my hair during Friends. But, after taking five years off, I was like, 'What's the point?'"...

The former Friends star has spent the four years since his show Joey went off the air doing the thing he loves best — being a good dad!
While all of Matt LeBlanc’s co-stars from Friends seem to have found some level of success since the show went off the air (be it in movies — Jennifer Aniston; TV — Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow; or theater —David Schwimmer), the man known eternally as Joey Tribbiani has kept a low profile. But there’s a good reason for that — he’s been spending quality time with his 6-year-old daughter, Marina (with ex-wife Melissa McKnight).
“When Joey ended, I took a lot of time off… I just really was kind of burned out,” the 43-year-old actor told the audience at the Television Critics Association press tour presentation for his new TV show, Episodes. “I just wanted to be a dad. We have a great bond,...
