Us Weekly reports that the 47-year-old Friends star called it quits with the 39-year-old actress some time ago, but the media just caught wind of their alleged breakup.

The 47-year-old actor and Andrea Anders have called it quits after eight of dating, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Matt and Andrea co-starred together in the "Friends" spinoff, "Joey," for two seasons.

The former couple first stepped out together in 2006 after Matt split with wife Melissa McKnight, whom he was married to for three years.

Matt LeBlanc thinks his marriage was "doomed". The 43-year-old actor, who split from spouse Melissa McKnight in 2006, almost three years after they wed, believes the stress of working on his flop sit-com "Joey" and caring for their sick daughter Marina, now six, meant their union was never going to have a happy ending.

"The stress of the show not working took its toll on me, it took its toll on my marriage," he admitted. "My marriage was maybe doomed anyway, I don't know. My daughter was diagnosed with a problem with her head and we had a nanny who sold the story about her to the papers. It was a very dark period. But I got through it. Don't they say what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger?"

“I dyed my hair the whole time on Friends,” Usmagazine.com quoted him as saying at a Television Critics” Panel in Beverly Hills for his new Showtime series Episodes.

“I just was sick of doing it,” he added.

And his 4-year break from television was just what the doctor ordered, he said. “When Joey ended, I took a lot of time off…I just really was kinda burned out. I just wanted to be a dad.”

LeBlanc has a 6-year-old daughter, Marina, with his ex-wife Melissa McKnight. “We have a great bond, and it’’s the best thing.
