Kazumi is a graduate from the most prestigious private university,
Kansai Foreign Language University. She was one of the top foreign
exchange students.
She went on to study broadcasting with a Mass Communications major wishing that someday she will have her own talk-show to make a difference in the world. Then, Kazumi worked at the CNN Washington, D.C. Bureau. She wanted to see the world so she became an in flight translator/attendant, flying all over the world.
Meanwhile, she saw many plays on her layovers, and she realized that she wanted to do something that can give people positive influence. She trained at Jeff Daniel's Purple Rose Theater in Michigan, and then moved to L.A. to pursue acting, writing and painting.
She also worked at Warner Brothers as a translator for studio operation.
She has been booking national TV shows and commercials and also participating in award-winning plays.
She worked on "Princess diaries" with Anne Hathaway, Raven and Hector Elizondo. Most recently, Kazumi played a pedicurist who raps in Japanese and English on the world premier MTV comedy "Short Circuitz." Kazumi has appeared as a leading role of Lotus Blossom in The Teahouse of the August Moon, The Gazebo, The Japanese dance recitals as a stage actress. She enjoys live audiences.

She also teaches Japanese calligraphy, one stroke painting and craft making to pass on traditional arts that her grandmother taught her. She was trained by her calligraphy master since she was 6 years old.
She enjoys doing Yoga, playing tennis, martial arts, fan dance. Someday, she would love to write children's books .
She has her own brand "Kazumi" that sells her original paintings and other creative items.
