Trofee Shavolya
- Stunts
Trofee Shavolya grew up in Inglewood, California, but never even
considered a career in show-biz that is, until one day she lost 50
pounds, and was asked by veteran stuntwoman Kelsee Devoreaux to train
to become a stuntwoman.
Thrilled that years ago she shut the door to her career options as a: Army or Police Officer. Trofee has learned to keeps her options open. And this lesson has allowed her to become the stuntwoman she is today, along with the title of writer, producer, director, and mentor. Working on sitcoms, dramas -- even short films. She has gone from "Da Hood" as she calls it to being on the set of some of Hollywood's hottest films. Shows like: One on One (Salonge Knowles), Step by Step, NYPD Blue, Sunset Park, Kelis (Music Video), The Practice, Living Single (Queen Latifah), East of Hope Street (Producer Tim Russ of Star Trek), Eight Ball, Family Matters (Kellie Shanygne Williams), In The House, Law & Order, Someone To Call My Lover (Janet Jackson Video), Mission Impossible Live Stunt Show (Stunt Coordinator) just to name a few. Her career highlights also include the joy of fighting (on camera), doing 180's, Reverse 180s, Slides, 90s, and doughnuts. She's always ready to give Hollywood something that they have never seen, so the next time you see your favorite movie stick around for the credit roll.
Other career highlights include being the producer/director of "Ear To The Street." A program designed to let the children in her youth group The Inner City Youth in Action (I. C. Y. A. ) speak about their trails.
This one of a kind powerhouse has recently turned author with her self titled book: Trofee: This one's not for your mantel. She also just wrapped on the set of "Hollywood At Its Best" a documentary about Hollywood's top 5 African-American stuntwoman.
