There are a lot of things hidden in Man of Steel. Our Superman expert Jeff Taylor has already compiled a big, two-part list of Easter eggs and references to other Superman incarnations and the DC Comics world at large. Some of them are just fun production design (there's a Waynetech logo on the satellite Superman and Zod destroy), others are characters with bigger importance in the comics (one of the kids bullying Clark Kent becomes the villain Conduit). This, however, is even more subtle than all of the ones we already know about. An eagle-eyed Redditor has uncovered what they think is a cameo by Christopher Reeve. It comes at the moment Superman enters the gravity-increasing beam of the World Engine and looks up. It's during that moment where Henry Cavill's face...

[Warning: This post will contain Man of Steel spoilers] Those who've been following the Man of Steel conversation online are probably already familiar with some of the ongoing debates surrounding the film's controversial ending. If you're not, then the gist of it is that folks are divided on the changes the film makes to the Superman character, in that he not only allows massive destruction to take place in Metropolis (while thousands of people perish), but he also kills General Zod, which goes against everything Superman stands for... well, up until this point, at least. And for those counting, that's been a long time. This isn't the first time Superman has ever killed anyone (Jeff Taylor talks about the controversy that cropped up last time it happened in...

Woody Allen’s next film, heretofore known as ‘Nero Fiddled’, was officially re-titled yesterday and given a new name that should see it resonate better in its international territories, and so from here on out we’ll know it as ‘To Rome With Love’.
We now have the first eleven images to share with you, some images of the film itself and others including Allen on set, as well as the full cast line-up (which is excellent) and the full soundtrack details (which are just a little bit impeccable).
The romantic-comedy is made up of four vignettes, two of which revolving around American characters and two around Italian characters, with the main cast including the likes of Allen himself, Alec Baldwin, Penélope Cruz, Ellen Page, Jesse Eisenberg, Roberto Benigni, Judy Davis, Greta Gerwig, and Alison Pill.

With a new geographically-specific title and a summer release just announced, Woody Allen's latest Euro-flavored venture, "To Rome With Love," is just around the corner. Looking to replicate the success of "Midnight In Paris," a career-best box office hit that won Allen his first writing Oscar since 1987 for "Hannah And Her Sisters," details of his latest film are being kept under wraps. Luckily, we now have a better look at what's to come as a host of photos from the project have been unveiled.
While there's no sign of young stars Greta Gerwig or Ellen Page amongst the pics, there's certainly no lack of star-power with our first glimpses at Penelope Cruz, Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Alison Pill, Judy Davis and even Allen in his first acting role since 2006's "Scoop." The images also feature Allen's army of lesser-known Italian stars including Monica Nappo, Flavio Parenti, Alessandra Mastronardi,...

Detroit -- Rapper-rocker Kid Rock – incensed over a column questioning where the musician's "Made in Detroit" line of T-shirts actually are made – lashed out at the writer in an expletive-laced letter on the company's website.
The target of Rock's anger was long-time Detroit Free Press columnist Susan Tompor.
On Monday, Tompor wrote that some "Made in Detroit" T-shirts are manufactured overseas, and some adult-sized T-shirts were missing labels. The column questioned "why?"
Kid Rock, who was born Robert Ritchie, bought the struggling company several years ago. He lives north of Detroit in Macomb County and promotes the city often.
Tommy Dubak, who runs operations for "Made in Detroit," acknowledged to Tompor in the column that some shirts with the company's design are made in the U.S., but others could be manufactured elsewhere.
Rock said in his letter that the column misses the point about the company.

What’s better than one Westen on the case? Two Westens.
Nate Westen was back on "Brotherly Love," making full use of his older brother's skills and talents by convincing Michael into helping locate some stolen cars.
We haven’t seen Nate since the end of season three, when he tried to talk Madeline into moving to Las Vegas to be closer to him and her future grandchildren. I mention this for those that may not remember it because this episode marked the beginning of that “some day.”
I’m actually surprised that Matt Nix and his team didn’t remind us of that conversation after it came out that Nate and Ruth are expecting. I think it would have made the scene with Madeline and Michael more powerful had she mentioned something about why Nate wanted her to relocate.
It’s very out of character for Nix to have...

Mention author Eric S. Brown's name, and more than likely the first thing you'll think of is the undead as he's become the rather undisputed "King of Zombie Stories". But that doesn't mean he's ready to be pigeonholed. Case in point: his new book Bigfoot War.
Brown's Bigfoot War is now available from Coscom Entertainment, and here's the synopsis:
Jeff Taylor was an ordinary boy growing up in the small town of Babble Creek, North Carolina, until one night his life was changed forever. His family brutally murdered by a sasquatch, Taylor fled the town. Years later, after two tours of duty in the Iraq War, he returns home seeking vengeance. Taylor’s lust for the blood of the monster that slew his family will set in motion a series of events that soon will have the entire town fighting for its life as a tribe of sasquatches descend from...
