He joins from Echo Lake Entertainment, where he worked for six years. It was there that he first came to connect with Navigation’s co-founder, James Engle, while working as his assistant.
Schell brings with him a list of clients that includes Tom Hanada (Motherland: Fort Salem), Jess Carson (The Flash), Meredith Kecskemety (The Legend of Vox Machina), Alyssa & Griffin Devine (Portals), Todd Stephens (Swan Song) and Addison Heimann (Hypochondriac). While Navigation is headquartered in Los Angeles, with teams in both L.A. and Vancouver, Schell will be the first member of the company to work out of New York.

"Christmas with the Campbells" is bringing some refreshingly raunchy comedy to the Hallmark holiday romance formula. For this new Christmas movie, producers Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley (star of "A Christmas Story" and its recent sequel), who have been friends since working on a CBS after-school special back in 1990, brought in bona fide Hallmark movie screenwriter Barbara Kymlicka to deliver your average holiday romance. But that was just the beginning. The plan was to take the script, about a messy break-up around Christmastime, and sprinkle in some R-rated humor that adds a little bit of naughty to everything that's typically nice about made-for-tv holiday romances. And that's exactly what they did.
Director Clare Neiderpruem, another Hallmark veteran, was brought in to take the helm, and "Christmas with the Campbells" came together with some surprising star power in the form of Brittany Snow, Justin Long, and Alex Moffat. All three are great as the primary characters,...

Plot: When Jesse gets dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn’s handsome cousin, while Shawn is away.
Review: There are three types of people during the holidays: the die-hards who love everything and anything Christmas, the people who are wholly and unabashedly against anything Yuletide, and Hallmark fans. The greeting card company turned television network has churned out romantic and feel-good movies set during the Christmas season for years with their primary competition, Lifetime, doing much of the same. For the most part, these movies are painfully happy and cliche, populated by small screen stars and bygone performers looking for a last-ditch chance at relevance. With so many of these movies made every year, the bar is set very, very low which means you get porn-level acting and production values to go along with fantastically...

Every single year, it seems like there are at least a hundred new Hallmark holiday movies hitting cable and streaming services. No matter how cheesy, formulaic, or poorly acted these movies are, people can't seem to get enough of them. I'm not sure if most people are hate-watching them for a good laugh or if the holidays just have them seeking out the warmth of hammy holiday happiness and love. No matter what the reason, these movies are typically not for me. But thankfully, producers Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley have figured out a way to make these Hallmark holiday movies a little more appealing.
On the surface, the new holiday romantic comedy "Christmas with the Campbells" follows a familiar Hallmark movie formula. Brittany Snow ("Pitch Perfect") plays Jesse, whose life is thrown into upheaval when her douchebag boyfriend Shawn breaks up with her just a few days before Christmas.

(Welcome to ...And More, our no-frills, zero B.S. guide to when and where you can watch upcoming movies and shows, and everything else you could possibly stand to know.)
Even if you don't actively watch Hallmark holiday movies, you can almost write your own in your head. You know how they look, how they feel, how every story beat goes. They are as predictable as they come, creating a comfort food of romance and holiday spirit. No one really watches a Hallmark movie for innovation... until now.
What if someone revamped the typical Hallmark holiday movie by making it a bit naughty? That's exactly what producers Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley, and the showrunner of "American Vandal," have done. The result is "Christmas with the Campbells," a new holiday comedy that aims to show what would happen if the characters in a Hallmark movie were allowed to say what they really mean,...

There seems to be quite a few movies cashing in on the popularity of fairy tales lately—especially the Grimm’s brothers scary stories. Snow White: A Deadly Summer unfortunately uses a familiar name but not much else.
Snow (Shanley Caswell) is a troubled teen who hates her father Grant’s (Eric Roberts) new wife, Eve (Maureen McCormick—yes, Marsha Brady as an evil step-mom). Eve talks Grant into sending Snow to a rehabilitation camp for at-risk teenagers, after her mirror reflection tells Eve that she will never come first in Grant’s life. Can you say cliché? Snow arrives and is greeted by seven other delinquents—yes seven, like the dwarves. Soon the teens are being killed off, one at a time by a mysterious hooded figure.
For background, one delinquent tells the others that a girl was murdered at the camp some thirty...
