Jared Harris, Joseph Fiennes & Sheila Atim Leading A+E/Sky’s ‘Royal Kill List’
Jared Harris, Joseph Fiennes and Sheila Atim are leading an A+E Networks/Sky series about King Charles I from Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story producer 72 Films. Royal Kill List is Sky History’s latest docu-drama following in the footsteps of the likes of Royal Bastards: Rise of The Tudors and The Royal Mob. The three-part series looks back at one of the most seismic events in British royal history. In 1649, for the first and only time, a British monarch was publicly executed, having been tried and convicted of treason by Parliament. This bloody spectacle heralded 10 years of Britain as a republic before, in May 1660, the monarchy was restored with the accession of King Charles II. Told through dramatic reconstruction, Atim for the Royalists, Harris for the Regicides, and Fiennes for King Charles II will play out the Jacobean tragedy,...

It's a big moment and suggests Jaskier will play a pivotal role in telling everyone about the events of the troubling time before humans existed in the Witcher universe.

Netflix dropped a new “The Witcher: Blood Origin” trailer at Ccxp down in Brazil on Saturday, offering a closer look at the four-part prequel event series and revealing that fan-favorite character Jaskier (Joey Batey) from the flagship Netflix series makes an appearance.
Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of “The Witcher,” “Blood Origin” will tell a story lost to time – the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal conjunction of the spheres, when the world of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
By the looks of this trailer the show is a bit more action/martial arts-heavy than the Henry Cavill-fronted original series, but it also looks to offer up answers to big questions posed in “The Witcher” – namely what in the world are those monoliths and what do they do.

The tide has turned for the Templars, and Philip achieves his ultimate goal on Knightfall.
TV
This Knightfall review contains spoilers.
Knightfall Season 2 Episode 6
“Man plans; God laughs.”
Whether Knightfall returns for a third season doesn’t matter at this point. It's true that other Templar outposts may weather Philip’s onslaught, but the series has always been about Landry and the king. While it does contain some emotionally contemplative scenes, “Blood Drenched Stone” finally sets into motion the war to bring down the Chartres temple and allow Philip some measure of revenge for Joan and Landry’s betrayal.
By its very nature, the eve of battle presents an opportunity for the combatants not only to prepare but to reflect as well, and though it’s brief, the stolen embrace and kiss that Tancrede and Sister Anne (Claire Cooper) enjoy reveals the depth of sacrifice made by those who enter holy orders.

Much like Aerosmith, our latest installment of “From Streams to Screams” is living on the edge. Terrible jokes aside, psychologically driven horror movies are a great way to push my buttons as a viewer, and I love immersing myself in all kinds of mind-bending genre stories that feature characters either being driven to the brink of insanity, or those who have embraced their darker impulses and choose to revel in their madness.
So, with that in mind, here’s a look at 25 horror movies available on various streaming platforms that are the perfect way to get you ready for Halloween, and also deliver up some unexpected twists and turns along the way.

Emmerdale's Eric Pollard has been named as the unhealthiest character in soap.
In 62% of scenes, Eric (Chris Chittell) either has a drink in his hand or he's talking about his next livener. The study was made by Liverpool's John Moores University for the Co-operative store.
Senior British Heart Foundation cardiac nurse Doireann Maddock said: "If Eric wants to reduce his risk of that second heart attack, he needs to spend less time in the Woolpack and more enjoying brisk walks in the Dales – and eating plenty of fruit and veg."
Emmerdale was top of the unhealthy list, while EastEnders came in at second as 87% of the food shown on the programme is deemed bad for the heart.
Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb (Ricky Norwood) was Walford's worst, with his meals of peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) is also deemed unhealthy for adding salt to his soup.

Neighbours
I wondered how long it would take for it to be revealed that Aidan had broken hospital rules by secretly performing Andrew’s blood tests. This was this past week it finally happened. And, while it’s an interesting story, I’m not happy about how it played out.
First of all, since Georgia clearly had no intention of not turning Aidan in, or at least gave it very little thought before she did. She could have at least warned Aidan that the hammer was about to fall so he wasn’t blindsided. I suppose she did the right thing because he did violate hospital policy, but as far as I’m concerned, Georgia can save the half-hearted apologies. She’s not stupid and she had to know what would happen as a result of her blabbing. Just own up to what you did and shut up.

Coronation Street
My favorite moment of this week came when Eileen, after the truth about Maria and Marcus had been revealed, told them that they were selfish idiots who had hurt a lot of people with their deception. She spoke the truth when she predicted this would end in a lot of tears because Marcus would be unable to change who he is, a gay man. I’ve said that from the beginning of this storyline and if that was a foreshadowing moment, I have to say I agree.
As much as I find Maria and Marcus sweet together, I do think that Marcus seems to have ‘adjusted’ to his new life awfully quickly. Yes, he had a brief moment of ‘confusion’, but he got over that fast. And is it just me, or does it seem that now that Marcus is sleeping with Maria, we...
