Michael Irvin was born on March 5, 1966 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for Jack and Jill (2011), The Longest Yard (2005) and Criminal Minds (2005). He has been married to Sandy Harrell since June 23, 1990. They have four children.
He suffered a neck injury in the 1999 NFL season which forced an early
retirement from football.
Was selected to play in five Pro Bowls and won 3 Super Bowls as a wide
receiver of the Dallas Cowboys, along with quarterback, Troy Aikman and NFL' all-time rushing leader, Emmitt Smith.

He was arrested on charges of cocaine possession in March of 1996. He
pleaded no contest and was found guilty and sentenced to community
service and probation. The NFL suspended him for the first five games
of the 1996 season.
