You’d be forgiven for thinking you’d seen everything Bethesda’s frozen masterpiece had to offer being it’s been two whole years since the initial release. But with that being said, we all knew when exploring the game’s vast landscapes that there were bits and pieces we were missing along the way – that overarching feeling that you’d never see everything the world had in it.
Featuring one of the best mission-generating gameplay systems ever put in an RPG, Skyrim has always cobbled together random interactions for the sake of making you visit far off locations you didn’t realise had something worthwhile to offer. However, this time round we’ve put together a list of sights you’ll have to seek out yourself, as they’re the ones that would only make themselves known after every inch of the game has been thoroughly combed over.

Tom Hardy is considering the role of George Mallory in a movie about the climber's expeditions to Mount Everest during the 1920s. Lawless actor Hardy is in early talks to play Mallory in Doug Liman's new movie Everest, according to Deadline. Mallory is believed by some to have been the first man to have successfully climbed Mount Everest, three decades ahead of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. However, he never returned from his third and final attempt to reach the summit, disappearing along with climbing partner Andrew Irvine in 1924. Mallory's (more)...

"The Bourne Identity" and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" director Doug Liman has joined "Everest", an adaptation of Jeffrey Archer's historical novel "Paths of Glory", at Sony Pictures says Deadline.
Archer's book deals with the mystery of George Mallory's 1924 ascent of Mount Everest. The mountain climber made several attempts to reach the peak, but he and partner Andrew Irvine never returned from their June 1924 climb.
In 1999, Mallory's frozen body was found near the summit on the North Face, and debate has raged ever since about whether he was actually on his way down or up. Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first to make a successful ascent of the peak in 1953.
Sheldon Turner came onboard to pen the script back in 2009 while Jennifer Klein is producing. Liman will supervise the next draft by Turner with the intention to direct the film which is said to be a priority at the studio.

Summiting Mount Everest is and always has been the ultimate achievement for any extreme sport enthusiast. Scaling the cliffs and reaching the peak at over 29,000 feet is the rush every climber has seen as a goal since as early as the 1920s. In the 1920.s, before anyone else had ever reached the daunting peak of Mount Everest, George Mallory and colleague Andrew Irvine embarked on the same journey many attempt now in the 21st century. The new documentary The Wildest Dream describes how the two disappeared on their third attempt to conquer the mountain in 1924 and were not found for 75 years, in 1999. Using re-enactments, archival photos and stock footage, the film investigates whether or not Mallory and Irvine reached the summit before disappearing. The trailer at HeyUGuys does a great job of conveying the intensity of the climb, but that might have something to do with the always powerful voice...

Liam Neeson is set to reunite with his late wife Natasha Richardson in a new film. The widower, who was married to the actress for 15 years until her death last year, narrated a documentary in which she had voiced a character before she died.
"The Wildest Dream" features a point in the life of British explorer George Mallory when he was torn between his love for his wife Ruth and his passion with the "last great adventure," becoming the first person to climb Mount Everest.
Richardson voiced Ruth before she was killed in a skiing accident in March 2009. Neeson is narrating the story. The voices of Ralph Fiennes, as Mallory; Hugh Dancy, as his fellow climber Andrew Irvine; and Alan Rickman, as Noel Odell, the last person to see Mallory alive, are also featured.

Mount Everest hides as many great stories as it does buried bodies. George Mallory was both.
Sony is in final discussions to pick up a pitch from screenwriter Sheldon Turner that would see him adapting Jeffrey Archer's historical novel, "Paths of Glory," about the mystery surrounding Mallory's 1924 ascent, into a feature.
Sony's Doug Belgrad and Rachel O'Connor are overseeing for the studio. Jennifer Klein is producing through her Apartment 3B banner.
Mallory's legacy involves the possibility that he -- and not Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953 -- was the first man to reach the summit of the Nepalese peak. Mallory made several attempts, and competed with Australian climber George Finch, who first used oxygen, but he and his partner Andrew Irvine never returned from their June 1924 climb.
