Former Nascar driver Jeremy Mayfield was arrested and charged Tuesday with possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine, the Associated Press reports. The arrest came after officers searched his western North Carolina home and discovered drugs and $100,000 worth of stolen property, according to records from the Catawba County Sheriff's Office. Mayfield, 42, was suspended indefinitely from Nascar in 2009 for violating the organization’s substance abuse policy. Filmed in Mooresville, North Carolina, the video stars Nascar Sprint Cup Series driver Jeremy Mayfield as an aspiring racer who unfortunately has no sponsor or endorsement deals, but pushes forward in pursuit of his dream.
