Patti Stanger lays into her millionaire lawyer client David Goldman on this week’s Million Dollar Matchmaker — branding him a “superficial asshole”. Patti makes the comment in an episode which sees 38-year-old Goldman, who has a penchant for younger women, ditch his age-appropriate date to enjoy some steamy time in the pool with a group of 20-something women. Also, watch our exclusive clip from the episode, titled The Ageist and the Snob, which shows Manhattan lawyer and businessman Goldman taking part in a “singles mingle” test — where instead of going and talking to older women he zooms in on a 22-year-old,...read more...

You either love or hate Google products, that goes for its phones, search engines or even its popular web browser Google Chrome. In October, StatsCounter Global Stats found that the tech giant’s alternative to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer now had more than 53% cent of the share of users, in America alone it was 41%.
That’s some pretty staggering figures, to think that nearly half of the people in the Us use Google Chrome over any other of the alternatives. This obviously leads to questions why and it’s pretty obvious. Google is so successful with its maps, email, docs and calendar systems more people are favouring a ‘connected’ experience in this digital age.
One of the best parts of Chrome is the incorporation of different extensions which Google say ‘are small software programs that can modify and enhance the functionality of the Chrome browser.’

Google takes quite a lot of stick these days. While it’s improved our lives through services like Google Drive, Calendar, and (sorry Bing) the best search engine in the world, the company is also known for its questionable privacy policies. It’s no secret that the company has access to – and uses – pretty much all the data we store on its services – including searches and emails – and that makes a lot of people uneasy.
But in recent years Google has become far more than just a online services provide, working on a whole load of outlandish science and tech projects that could change our lives in ways previously thought unimaginable. We’re not just talking about consumer technology here either. The company has committed millions of dollars to fighting cancer, DNA studies, and other ambitious ventures.
To this end, Google recently founded Alphabet, a parent company...

As her own custody battle drags on, Kelly Rutherford returned to Washington, D.C., on Thursday to testify at another congressional hearing about "left behind" children.
Rutherford, 46, spoke about her fight to bring son Hermes, 8, and daughter Helena, 6, home to the United States permanently. The kids live in Monaco and France with their father, German businessman Daniel Giersch, but are spending the summer with her.
"Nobody in this country seems willing or able to do anything to help bring my American children home, even though this is the country that sent them away," she said, according to a news release.

The 2015 Major League Baseball season started this week and as always it’s a marathon rather than the sprint. The season runs 162 games from the start of April through the end of September for the regular season and then the playoffs take place in October.
It’s the American sport with the most games in a year, but it’s also the sport that proven to have the most competitive balance in the last few years. Baseball wasn’t always balanced. There was a trend for many years where a lot of the richest teams were the ones making it deep in the playoffs. It’s not like that now after the Kansas City Royals made the World Series last year.
There are fans of every team that are sitting there this week thinking maybe “we” can make the playoffs. That’s what sports fans want. If...

We have to admit, we originally stumbled on photographer David Goldman's work due to a slightly overblown obsession with his iconic cover of Blink 182's "Enema of the State."
While Goldman's "Blink 182" days are far behind him, his recent project is far more inspired. He journeyed to Ethiopia in collaboration with SalaamGarage, a humanitarian media organization working to promote change through art and storytelling. Goldman was one of a group of photographers to travel to the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where thousands of lives are saved every year -- free of charge.
The hospital treats Obstetric Fistula, a life-threatening condition that develops after a woman experiences complications while giving birth. The only way to prevent the internal tissue damage that can stop women from walking or even standing upright is surgery, and only few Ethiopian hospitals provide such a treatment. Luckily, the Hamlin Fistula...

A federal judge sentenced T.I. to 11 months in prison Friday (October 15) during a probation hearing, where the rapper was found to have violated the terms of his supervised release, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The prosecution sought to send T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) back to prison for two years, The Associated Press reported. But the rapper pleaded with the judge to lessen his punishment and instead help him with his drug dependency, according to AP.
Last month in Los Angeles, the rapper was arrested after a traffic stop, when police discovered drugs on him and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. The incident prompted Friday's hearing.
According to police documents obtained by several media outlets leading up to the hearing, at the time of his arrest,...

Back Stage at the SAG Foundation held a serious panel on the business of comedy on June 9. The panelists were actor Oscar Nuñez ("The Office"), his manager Bruce Smith (co-owner and founder of Omnipop Talent Group), David Goldman (CEO of Comedy Time Network), stand-up comic/casting director/producer Lesley Wolff, and casting associate/stand-up comic Chris Gehrt. There were a few laughs and jokes throughout the night, but for the most part the panelists candidly shared their expertise about the comedy world. Topics included why improv training is important for actors, if you can teach someone to be funny, how important writing is to comedians, the truth about open mic nights, and how the Internet has changed the comedy world. "It separates you from being the good actor to 'I gotta have that guy,'" said Gehrt regarding those who have been trained in improv. "It makes you stand out...

Life with Cheryl Hines must be pretty fun — and funny!
The actress and comedienne, known for her hilarious role on Curb Your Enthusiasm, brings the laughs through everything she does.
Now Hines, mom to Catherine Rose, 6, with husband Paul Young, is teaming up with Hebrew National to feed America’s needy children this summer.
The actress recently took some time to chat with People Moms & Babies about that project, as well as her new show School Pride and of course, mommyhood.
How do you balance your work schedule with being a mom?
I find it hard, but not impossible.
