Ryan Fitzgerald was born in Adelaide on October 16, 1976. He has had an
up and down life, including an unsuccessful Australian Football League
career also known as the AFL, has co-founded a club of mates known as
MLS. (Massive Loser Squad) and his most recent achievement is competing
in the most recent series of Big Brother in Australia. In Fitzgerald's
AFL career, he played for 2 clubs, the Sydney Swans and the Adelaide
Crows. He played 15 games in 5 years due to chronic knee and shoulder
injuries. He has had 2 shoulder reconstructions and 2 knee
reconstructions. He is the co-founder of MLS. which has about 15-20
members. In Big Brother, he came fourth out of 16
contestants.
Played for AFL clubs Sydney Swans (1998-2001) and the Adelaide Crows
(2002). After being on the club lists for four years he only played 18
games due to nagging shoulder and knee injuries which lead to his early
retirement from the game.
Number 4 overall AFL draft pick for Sydney Swans in the 1998 national
draft.
