Bradley Cooper was supposed to team up with Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan briefly for this 2015 drama. But it was a collaboration that never came to be.
Jamie Dornan was supposed to cameo in this little known Bradley Cooper film Bradley Cooper | Julian Parker/Getty Images
In the same year audiences saw him star in Fifty Shades of Grey, Dornan almost appeared in one of Cooper’s quieter films. In 2015, The Star Is Born actor played a tormented chef looking for redemption in the drama Burnt. The feature boasted an ensemble cast that included Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, and Uma Thurman. Dornan was initially recruited to be a part of the ensemble.
But Dornan’s scenes were soon cut from the feature, which led to a lot of speculation. In a 2015 interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Cinemablend), Burnt director John Wells cleared the air about Dornan’s lost scene.

Fully immersive experiences have become increasingly more popular throughout the entertainment industry, from the advent of “mystery dinner theater” to the explosion of team-oriented escape rooms, to more extensive creations like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios’ Islands of Adventure and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, as well as next year’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser resort.

Marco Pierre White's looking straight at me with piercing eyes. The reaction from my friends and family when I revealed I was going to be cooking for the volatile chef was unanimous: "He's terrifying."
Now that I'm in front of him, all I can think of are two things: 1. Don't burn the studio down, and 2. Don't slice your finger off.
In all my years I have never burnt a building down or sliced a finger off. So quite why I'm now panicking is unclear. But White, who TV viewers will remember as the demonic head honcho on ITV's Hell's Kitchen, has that effect.
The first British chef to gain three Michelin stars, the culinary success story trained under Albert and Michel Roux and later mentored Gordon Ramsay. The pair fell out when Ramsay turned up to his wedding with a camera crew in tow, and haven't spoken since.

12 bizarre TV shows that weren't invented by Alan Partridge - honest
Ten amateur celebrity chefs - including Blur's Alex James, Keith Duffy from Boyzone and EastEnders' John Partridge - will take on the challenge.
They will take it in turns to command the kitchen, cooking for the ship's captain and VIP guests.
There will be two separate cruises, with five stars competing on each, and the show will also explore the locations at which the ships stop, particularly the food and cooking techniques they offer.

Cookery skills will meet poker faces with Watch's new show Humble Pie.
Melanie Sykes and Marco Pierre White will present the show that sees four contestants cook up three dishes then critique each other's efforts.
A further twist sees chefs then predicting how White will have ranked their meals - and either rule themselves out and win a "cash exit fee" or risk staying in and winning even more money.
It will mean the best cook doesn't always stay in the competition as bluffers put on their best poker face in an attempt to win the money.
The series will run as eight one-hour episodes with Sykes and White fronting it.
Humble Pie will air in September.

When chef Marco Pierre White published his autobiography in 2006, his infamously tumultuous life was guaranteed to be a dramatic read. Originally titled White Slave, the book was released in America under the new moniker, The Devil In The Kitchen, and readers were not disappointed. Now, it seems the story of the man widely regarded as the first ‘celebrity chef’ may be headed for the screen, as Ridley Scott, Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi have optioned the work for development.
Following the man from his humble and tragic beginnings in Leeds, UK, to the height of fame and fortune at the centre of London’s restaurant scene, The Devil In The Kitchen depicts the genesis of “the godfather of modern cooking.” Earning his stripes from some of the best chefs in the country, such as Albert Roux and Raymond Blanc, White himself would go on to train Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal,...

Ridley Scott will produce a biopic based on the life of television chef Marco Pierre White.
Scott, Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi have optioned the rights to White's memoir The Devil in the Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness and the Making of a Great Chef, Deadline reports.
It isn't yet clear if Scott will also serve as director on the project, which will chart White's rise to fame as one of the first celebrity chefs.
The memoir focuses on White's tumultuous early years and his success as a chef in 1980s London.
The 52-year-old - who trained Gordon Ramsay - was the first and youngest chef to win three Michelin stars. He has appeared on cooking shows like Hell's Kitchen, MasterChef and Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Wars.

It.s no secret that we.re huge fans of Jon Favreau.s Chef around these parts, which means we.re not at all surprised that chef movies are on the rise - though maybe from places we didn.t expect. Blockbuster filmmaker Ridley Scott has teamed up with his oft-collaborative actress Giannina Facio and Iranian screenwriter Colet Abedi (Fashion House) in optioning The Devil in the Kitchen, the excellent memoir from the original culinary genius asshole Marco Pierre White. If you.ve read The Devil in the Kitchen, or if you keep up with world-renowned chefs in general, you.re aware of Marco Pierre White. In 1994, he became (at 33) the then-youngest chef to earn 3 Michelin stars, arguably the highest honor in the land. This was done by dedicating a large portion of his life to the kitchen, where he often turned boys into men in a sense, while holding...

Ridley Scott always has so many projects bubbling away in his development kitchen that it’s a wonder he has time to monitor them all. Still, that’s what a production company like Scott Free is for. The delivery truck has backed up to the loading bay, bringing yet another new possibility: Marco Pierre White’s memoir The Devil In The Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness And The Making Of A Great Chef.Scott has splashed some cash alongside fellow producers Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi to buy the rights to White’s tome, which somewhat unsurprisingly, chronicles his rise to become one of the pioneers of the celebrity chef archetype. It has all the usual ingredients: a riotous childhood, rock star status in the 1980s kitchen scene bristling with other trendy types and his work training the likes of Mario Batali and Gordon Ramsay. Oh, and the fact that he...

Beverley McGarvey chief programming officer for the Ten Network talks about her media habits and media trends in a Q&A first published on Encore.
Who is the most powerful person in Australian media and why?
Government policy and regulation touches pretty much everything we do on a day- to-day basis, so I would have to say communications minister, Stephen Conroy. From the amount of advertising we can sell, to the accuracy of our electronic program guide data, we have to check the rules every time we take a breath. Importantly, though, I think Senator Conroy gets the fact that this industry is going through a period of major structural change and he has taken some positive steps to make sure we can keep doing what we do, particularly for local content.
What one medium could you not live without?

The first week’s outing of MasterChef: The Professionals has paid off for the Ten Network with all three episodes topping the million mark.
Last night’s eviction episode attracted 1.020m capital city viewers, and was again the top rating non-news program for the third night running according to preliminary OzTAM figures.
Ten’s decision to start the program a week earlier than Seven’s My Kitchen Rules has given it a head start on the heavily promoted Seven show. Mkr averaged 1.8m viewers last year.
MasterChef: The Professionals was fourth for Tuesday overall behind Seven News (1.192m, Nine News (1.163m and Today Tonight (1.108m).
However, in the key advertising demographics of 16-39 and 18-49, MasterChef was most watched show of the night.

The Ten network’s gamble on MasterChef: The Professionals paid off last night with the show being the most watched non-news program of the night.
Rain in Sydney dented Nine’s one day cricket game between Australia and Sri Lanka, giving the cooking program more than enough air to breath in its debut and setting it up for a healthy series run. The show features chef Marco Pierre White and regular Masterchef judge Matt Preston.
According to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM, 1.165m viewers in the five capital cities tuned in, bumping the Australian Open tennis into second place after the tournament dominated nightly viewing last week.
The ABC’s Upstairs Downstairs (761,000) was the only other entertainment program to make the top five capital city to make the top 10 shows of the night.
Meanwhile, Nine News Sunday was the most watched program of the night with 1.5m viewers, followed by Seven News with 1.243m.

It’s a tricky one launching a new TV season. You’ve got to look confident even if you’re in strife. But you shouldn’t sing too loudly if you’re winning.
Last week, what little commentary around Seven’s upfronts that didn’t focus on Celebrity Splash was on their somewhat triumphalist approach.
Fair to say, that wasn’t a criticism that could be levelled at Ten this morning.
The first word I had back from one media buyer who was at the Sydney presentation was “humble”.
As well they might be after the year they’ve just had.
But in terms of 2013, I suspect that the 500 or so people in the room will have left more confident in the network then they were at the start of the day.
Stability is the strategy. Gone are the risks of I will Survive, Everybody Dance Now and being Lara Bingle.

Bob Carlos Clarke was a famous fashion photographer who killed himself six years ago leaving behind his wife Lindsey and their daughter Scarlett, now 20. But, they tell Britt Collins, they have been determined not to let it 'take them to hell'
Sometimes Lindsey Carlos Clarke was so angry with her late husband that she wanted to burn all his work, change her name and disappear. Instead, she opened a gallery and is consumed by keeping the legacy of his "dark genius" burning. "Bob was the most exciting man I ever met. He was wild, dangerous, sexy and out of control," she says, sitting in her immaculate white living room, with its one violet-painted wall, a perfect backdrop for his striking black-and-white photographs. "When we were young in the 70s, before Bob was famous, we made a romantic pact that we'd kill ourselves when we looked too old in the mirror.
