Kenneth Montgomery(II)

Ken was born, raised and came of age in Chicago Illinois, and for as long as he can remember, he's always been associated with images. Over the last 15 years Ken has cut his own path as a Cinematographer, constantly developing a wide visual palette, all while adding value to any production. By the 5th grade Ken had a paper route for the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper. Coming to Los Angeles in his early-teens, by high school he excelled at Printing and Graphic Arts technology. Later, having gravitated away from printing technology and worked in various industries, Ken found himself yearning to express himself creatively. While recuperating from a work injury and after much soul-searching he decided to commit to a career in Filmmaking, focusing on Motion Picture Photography - his true passion. Starting in still photography (head shots and portraits) Ken gradually moved into filmmaking, focusing on his personal vision of specializing in motion picture photography. Ken now has a resume brimming with movies, commercials and documentaries. Generally speaking, Ken views himself as a Filmmaker / Cinematographer / Content Creator, but more specifically he specializes in Motion Picture Photography - creating the moving image.
