A collection of original music, the game's score, and tracks featured in the game's radio stations make up the massive "Grand Theft Auto V" music collection, out now on iTunes.
Oh, I get it--69 tracks. Clever, Rockstar.
The three volumes are available now as either separate purchases at $9.99 each or as a single download for $24.99 via iTunes. The collection includes original music from artists like Twin Shadow and Neon Indian on "Vol. 1: Original Music," to the incidental music and score of "Vol. 2: The Score," and remixed and licensed songs on "Vol. 3: The Soundtrack."
The release of the soundtrack continues Rockstar's media domination following the billion dollar launch of "GTA V" last week for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's also not the first time they've had a major launch for one of the game's soundtracks: fans of "Vice City" may recall the lavish soundtrack for that game which...

Hot Chip is returning to the United States for a string of dates in support of "In Our Heads," the well-received album the band released in June of last year.
The English indie-electro quintet will start their American journey at the Ultra Music Festival, the Coachella of dance music (later, in April, they'll also perform at Coachella itself). But though they're seeing quite a few bookings at dance festivals, Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor tells The Huffington Post the band isn't too concerned about the fist-pumping audience.
"I think people know what to expect when they come to see Hot Chip," he said in a phone interview from the band's rehearsal space in London. "So we still get booked, but we may seem a bit more like a live band by comparison, whereas a few years back we were just doing our own thing and some other bands were doing something similar.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
It’s been a seemingly effortless rise to the top of the dance music pile for London’s eccentric electro-pop quintet Hot Chip since arriving on the scene with 2004′s The Warning. It was 2006′s ‘Over and Over’ that would propel them head over heels towards the beginnings of dance music superstardom, with its devilishly catchy beats and rhymes providing a smart satirical retort to the critics who’d branded them ‘boring and repetitive’ on album number one.
After a short hiatus- whilst Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor explored some interesting extracurricular side projects- Hot Chip return with album number five, a collection of songs bursting at the seams with infectious and emotive pop hooks and synths that, whilst it showcases Hot Chip’s amazing affinity for drawing on a vast collection of disparate influences, heavily recalls 80′s synth-based troupe New Order during their Power, Corruption & Lies phase.

The collective's fifth studio LP was recorded and self-produced in London. The opus marks their first with new record label Domino. In Our Heads follows up 2010's One Life Stand, which peaked at number 11 on the charts. The 2 Bears have signed up to join Topman Ctrl 2012. The duo - made up of Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell - will join Radio 1's Huw Stephens throughout March to help search out the best new music. They said: "We are delighted to be Guest (fat) Controllers for the first month on Topman Ctrl. We've been badgering Huw Stephens to spend the entire creative budget on 'Be Strong On Ice', a reinterpretation of our album through the medium of ice skating. Not sure he's up for it though. "That's what we got in to this for. We want Torvill & Dean to play The 2 Bears. If that's not going to run then we're off back to the woods for another couple of months' (more)...

Joe Goddard has said that Hot Chip are unashamed of writing pop songs. The musician said that the group faced no pressure from their label to write in a certain way on upcoming album One Life Stand. Goddard told Digital Spy: "If you spoke to certain people in the more underground dance community, they might dismiss us for making 'pop music' in the bad sense. "I'm sure there are people that don't like us for that reason. Sometimes I think we should try to do something cooler, a bit more underground and edgy, but at the end of the day we are what we are. We write (more)...

Hot Chip's Joe Goddard has said that he would be interested in writing a song for pop superstar Kylie Minogue. It had been suggested that the group had initially penned 'Ready For The Floor' for Minogue, but Goddard has denied the suggestion. He told Digital Spy of the reports: "At the beginning there was some contact. As I recall, we were going to do a session with one of her writers. "That never really came to pass, though, because we were busy with other things and she was very busy with other things. (more)...

Band member Joe Goddard claimed that he penned the track 'Keep Quiet' immediately after seeing Boyle perform 'I Dreamed A Dream' on the ITV1 show. "I'd never seen it before and I found it quite incredible," he told Billboard. "Just listening to that made me want to write a song. I sent the track to Alexis [Taylor] and he quickly wrote the words and sent it back." Goddard revealed that the group spent too long working on their new album One Life Stand, released on February 8, and had (more)...
