For those of you who’ve never seen a horror short, you should seek them out because most that I’ve seen are very good. One example is the horror/comedy short Zeke (2004) which was written and directed by Dana Buning. The story is a simple one, taken from everyday life. Joe (David Perez-Ribada) takes his adult cat "Zeke" to be neutered.
Unfortunately for Joe, he waited too long for the cat to have the procedure done and now Zeke wants revenge.
From the time Joe gets Zeke home, the cat is clearly pissed. He begins to antagonize Joe and then outright tries to avenge the loss of his…ehem….balls in some rather nasty ways. And let me tell you, this cat is a genius. The film is very funny with plenty of gory moments and the production value is excellent.
You can catch Zeke,...
