"I'm not spying! I'm listening." It's hard to not think of The Sound and the Shadow as an indie version of other classic "listening" thrillers like Brian De Palma's Blow Out, or The Conversation, but there's also something original about Justin Paul Miller vision.

Jean Stapleton, the versatile actress who will forever be remembered for her long-running role as the dim-witted but deep-hearted Edith Bunker on the groundbreaking 1970s sitcom All in the Family, died Friday at her home in New York City, her family confirms. Stapleton, who was 90, succumbed to natural causes.
