IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Abderhmane Kirouche, also known as Paco, collaborated with Jimi Hendrix. Boujmâa, a member of the group Nass El Ghiwane, was searching for a musician to replace Abd El-Aziz Tahiri, who had joined the group Jil Jilala. Boujmâa was looking for a Guembri player and was impressed by Kirouche's style, thus recruiting him into his group in 1971. Before joining Nass El Ghiwane, Abderhmane Kirouche was a musician in the group Jil Jilala.

Abderhmane Kirouche brought a Gnaoui influence to Nass El Ghiwane; he also composed numerous pieces. He obtained the title of Mâalem in 1964 and played the Guembri.

He left the group in 1993 following a dispute with Omar Sayed. He then formed his own group with his children but fell ill. Abderhmane Kirouche was also a carpenter and participated in the film Transes.

Towards the end of his life, Abderhmane Kirouche was severely weakened by his illness and lived in poverty, prompting King Mohammed VI to grant him a monthly pension of 30,000 Dirhams until his passing.

He also participated multiple times in the Gnaoua Festival of his hometown, Essaouira.
