Liza Wolf
- Actress
- Additional Crew
Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Tampa, Florida by Elizabeth C Erhardt and Robert M Wolf, Liza survived an abusive childhood and eventually made her way up to New York where extended family once lived. Comfort in her younger years was found through imaginative solo play and many, many books - both escapes she continues to rely on.
Originally exploring local theater as a means to overcome communication challenges, she realized that "putting on an act" was helpful in providing the armor she needed at home. Her first professional casting came about after she unknowingly left a voicemail at a production studio on behalf of an unrelated employer, and the producer who heard the voicemail 'liked that voice.'
Now an ADDY winning writer and actress, both off-screen and on, Liza is happy to get the last laugh while encouraging colleagues to say the punchline.
A passionate advocate for seeing the strengths in neurodiversity, she supports local organizations that seek justice and mental health care in pediatric trauma casework.
