He wrote the song "I Do" for his friend's wedding, when he recorded
songs for his "Calm Before The Storm" album, he put it on there and it
made the Top 10 on the country charts in 1996.
He does a lot of charity work for Alberta Children's Hospital,
Christian Children's Fund and Foster Parents Plan.
Was a registered nurse in Calgary at the time he got his break.
He did a remake of the C.W. McCall classic "Convoy" and his convoy
included fellow singers Jason McCoy and Aaron Lines, Calgary Flames
defensemen Rhett Warrener and Mike Commodore as well as his wife Liz.
He picked his surname "Brandt" out of the telephone book and because it
sounded country.
