The latest episode of "Haunted Highway" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on Syfy) found Jack Osbourne and Dana Workman in Nevada.
The pair was hoping to pick up the scent of those monsters most feared by "Supernatural's" Sam and Dean Winchester: hellhounds.
The hounds are supposedly the spirits of vicious dogs that were once abused by miners in the area.
As Workman walked through the undergrowth, they both heard a growl. Then, through his thermal camera, Osbourne spotted some kind of four-legged creature moving toward her.
"Oh my God, Dana! Go! Run, run, run, run!" he yelled.
Although they agreed it wasn't proof of hellhounds, the pair didn't find any other animal in their vicinity.
The spine-tingling quest continues on "Haunted Highway," Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Et on Syfy.

Producers: John Brenkus, Mickey Stern and Ron Ziskin. Cast: Jael De Pardo, Devin Marble, Jack Osbourne, and Dana Workman. Just where can a "Haunted Highway" take a weary traveller? SyFy's latest entry into the paranormal reality genre answers that question by going not to where no man has gone before, but into the lakes, riversides and forests of, so far, America's hidden registry of cryptids. The two teams that make up this show are headed to nowhere fast if the bland production values are any indication. Unlike this network's two better known products, namely "Ghost Hunters" and "Destination Truth," which is embellished with some character drama and a few charismatic figures, this new series has the feel of giving the supporting characters of Jael de Pardo and Devin Marble from "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files" their own vehicle to make it out on their own. The other pairing in the...

On the latest episode of "Haunted Highway" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on Syfy) Jack Osbourne and Dana Workman were out in the Santa Ana mountains in Southern California.
The pair were on the trial of the rumored paranormal entity known as The Black Star Shadow Man.
After nightfall the team set up cameras around a tree and Dana acted as Shadow Man bait. When they examined the footage, there did seem to be a shadow moving across all the cameras.
Dana was convinced they had gathered proof that the Shadow Man existed. But Jack, however, was skeptical. "It's not proof that there's a shadow person," he argued. "It just proves that there's a shadow."

On the Series Premiere of "Haunted Highway" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on Syfy) Jack Osbourne and Dana Workman were on the hunt for cryptids. Specifically, the one known as The Bear Lake Beast.
Although it hasn't been spotted in a while, the monster is supposedly lurking in Bear Lake, on the Utah-Idaho border. So Jack donned scuba gear and dived in.
While he was underwater, Dana lost contact with him for a while and freaked out. However, he surfaced safely, reporting no signs of cryptid activity.
But, there was one spooky occurrence: They never worked out why their walkie-talkies stopped working during the dive.

The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.
The good news: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return on July 23. The hmmm news is that Lost Girl will move to Fridays at 10 on July 20. Hey That’S Haven’S Spot. So Where The Heck Is Haven? Admittedly we had a head’s up that Haven would be pushed to fall when we learned that the DVDs for Season 2 weren’t being released until September but Argh.
