That's where he becomes the town lawyer or whatever.”She recalled how the pair would be reunited in their hometown, Bomont, after her father becomes seriously unwell.Lori continued: “She comes back because her father's sick.

“Dancing With the Stars has found its new co-host. Julianne Hough will replace Tyra Banks as the long-running reality competition series’ co-host, ABC announced Monday.
Already a vet of the reality competition series, Hough will take the hosting mic for Season 32. Joining her will be returning co-host Alfonso Ribeiro (of “America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough as judges. Banks announced her departure from the program Friday.
First appearing on “DWTS” as a pro dancer in 2007, Hough won Season 4 and Season 5 with partners Apolo Anton Ohno and Hélio Castroneves, respectively. Leaving the series in 2009 to pursue other project, she returned as a judge in 2014–2017 and appeared as a guest judge in 2021.

Gasoline Alley, (no relation to the classic comic strip), is the fifth collaboration between director Edward Drake and star Bruce Willis. Normally it’s a good thing when a director and performer can work together as a team. But when that teaming produces Breach, Cosmic Sin, Apex and American Siege one has to question why the studio keeps teaming them up.

"I've got someone trying to pin a bunch of murders on me..." "In broad daylight?" Another month, another Bruce Willis movie. Make it stop!! Saban + Paramount have revealed an official trailer for Gasoline Alley, another boring Los Angeles crime thriller rehashing the same plot for the 5000th time. Some people were found dead, the cops think it was this guy, he says he's being framed. Yadda yadda. A man implicated in a triple homicide begins his own investigation. He enlists the two detectives on his tail in order to expose a conspiracy, or whatever. Starring Devon Sawa, Bruce Willis, and Luke Wilson, with Kat Foster, Sufe Bradshaw, Johnny Dowers, Kenny Wormald, Rick Salomon, Steve Eastin, Tracey "The Doc" Curry. This looks so bad. I wish Bruce would just stop making these, we really don't need them anymore... Here's the official trailer (+ poster) Edward Drake's Gasoline Alley, direct from YouTube: Bruce Willis,...

"The rules are simple: you run, we hunt you!" Vertical Ent. has debuted an official trailer for an indie action horror titled Happy Hunting, which is basically a brand new take on "The Most Dangerous Game". The description only explains that an alcoholic drifter becomes the target of a "deranged sporting event" but it's clear from the title and the trailer that it's obviously about a bunch of rednecks hunting people in a desert town. The film stars Martin Dingle Wall, Ken Lally, and Kenny Wormald. There's a few cool shots in this trailer, mainly the silhouette shots. Other than that, I'm not sure if this going to be entertaining or just sickening to watch. This footage makes it seem like the latter. If any of this interests you, then check it out. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Joe Dietsch & Louie Gibson's Happy Hunting, from YouTube: An alcoholic...

Warren is an alcoholic, degenerate, drifter. On his way down to Mexico he finds himself stranded in Bedford Flats a one-horse town deep in the American desert. Unfortunately for him the town’s pastime is rounding up drifters and hunting them as part of an elaborate sporting event. This most dangerous and deadly game and bloody fight for survival that builds to a violent, vile, live-or-die showdown in the desert.

Naturally being able to rely on your intuition to help guide you to make the right choices and form meaningful connections is a powerful personality trait some people possess that can greatly empower their lives. But for those people who lack the ability to trust their instincts, their lives unfortunately won’t leave them feeling fulfilled. The meaningful examination into both types of people is grippingly presented in the new horror film, ‘The Girl in the Photographs,’ which was directed by Nick Simon, who also co-wrote the script with Robert Morast and Osgood Perkins. Over the course of the awards season so far, specifically during the precursors, no one has had a quicker ride to the top tier of contention than Paul Dano. Originally, it seemed like his excellent work in Love & Mercy was destined to be overlooked, but then something interesting happened…he started getting nominated, as well as winning in certain places. Now, he’s a legitimate threat to be nominated at the Academy Awards. I’m thrilled that such a good performance in such a small film is catching on, so it begs the question…have we been underestimating Dano the whole time? Let’s discuss that a bit now! This is the story of Brian Wilson the frontman for the Beach Boys. The movie shows us him in the 1960’s as an emerging superstar before mental illness gets the best of him, as well as in the 1980’s when he...

I’ve been a fan of writer/director Nick Simon’s ever since I caught his first film Removal several years back and have been eagerly to see what his next effort would be like. I’m also – like the majority of the horror-loving world – a long-time admirer of the late, great Wes Craven. One of my all time favorite actors happens to be John Cusack. Over the past decade or so, one of my newer favorites is Paul Dano. As such, the concept of the two of them in a film together pumped me up from the minute that they were cast in Love & Mercy. Then, I saw it and realized that they wouldn’t be sharing the screen, but instead would be combining to bring the Beach Boys frontman Brian Wilson to life. The film is really strong, using both Cusack and Dano to great effect in a soft of hybrid performance. It’s very unique, and now audiences will get to enjoy their work this weekend when the movie comes to theaters. If you don’t know who Brian Wilson is, well…where have you been? He’s the frontman for the Beach Boys, and this is his story. We see...

Plenty of Oscar cred here: In addition to Dunaway, John Houseman and Cliff Robertson have key roles, and nominee Max von Sydow scares the hell out of you as an Alsatian assassin. Bill Murray makes monotony a joy in "Groundhog Day" It took me until this year to watch "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and I've decided Andie MacDowell does have a certain something.

CW is wanting to expand their range and thus have agree with John Wells on how to do just that. The two will create a series loosely inspired by Kenny Wormald, the actor who played the lead in Footloose remake. He is close to John Wells, hence why he decided to create a serious loosely based upon his life. It will follow a young dancer and his career as they finds a path to take. No word on how or if Kenny will be involved. No word of stares or possible premier dates yet either, as it looks like it is in the very early stages of planning.
I am not sure how I feel about that. Kenny is not all that well known yet, so it may be a bad move. However, it could help to really launch his career. It is a risky move to make and one that could very well backfire.

The CW has begun development of an hourlong drama loosely inspired by the life of actor-dancer and "Footloose" remake star Kenny Wormald.
John Wells Prods. and Warner Bros. TV will produce the project which is described as "Entourage meets 30 Feet From Stardom" and explores the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of Hollywood's hip-hop dance scene and a young man who is top-tier back-up dancer who dreams of becoming a choreographer.
Wormald worked as a backup dancer for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, The Pussycat Dolls, and Christina Aguilera before transitioning into acting with "Footloose" and the upcoming Beach Boys movie "Love and Mercy".
Playwright Andrew Hinderaker is penning the project which John Wells and Andrew Stearn will executive produce. Wormald will serve as a consultant.

An interesting choice was made on Jack Bryan‘s film The Living—one that occurred before the camera rolled. If you’re familiar with Fran Kranz‘s emotionally fractured science nerd Topher from Dollhouse and Kenny Wormald‘s coolly confident Ren from the Footloose remake, you’d probably have a pretty good idea of who would play who inside a plot dealing […]...

Oscar 2015: Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will return as Oscar show producers (photo: Craig Zadan and Neil Meron) Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will be back as producers of the 2015 Oscar ceremony, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced yesterday, April 21, 2014. This will mark Zadan and Meron’s third consecutive year as Oscar producers. In the United States, the 87th Academy Awards ceremony will air live on ABC on Oscar Sunday, February 22, 2015. Last March 2, the Zadan- and Meron-produced 2014 Oscar telecast brought back Ellen DeGeneres, whose performance as Oscar host drew mixed reviews — some loved the pizza; others hated it. Besides pizza delivery, the Oscar telecast also featured the presence of veterans Kim Novak and Sidney Poitier; musical performances by U2, Pharrell Williams, and Idina Menzel (aka "Adele Nazeem," as per John Travolta); in addition to a tribute to The Wizard of Oz performed by...

Closing with N.W.A.'s anti-authority anthem "Fuck tha Police," Kid Cannabis celebrates drug dealing via the real-life story of Nate Norman (Jonathan Daniel Brown), an overweight, nerdy teenage high-school dropout who, in 2005, teamed up with best friend Topher (Kenny Wormald) to smuggle ungodly amounts of marijuana across the Canadian border into Idaho.
Nate does this because he loves weed and hates being poor, and John Stockwell's film endorses his decision, not because of pot-legalization convictions, but because it sees Nate as a daring entrepreneur assured enough to partner with both a talented supplier (John C. McGinley) and an intimidating investor (Ron Perlman), as well as run his own motley crew of mules. Narrating his saga with grating clichés — "E...

The original "Footloose" hit a major milestone on Monday (Feb. 17). The movie starring Kevin Bacon officially turns 30 years old, and "The Following" star celebrated its anniversary by sharing a throwback photo to his dancing days on Twitter:
"It was 30 years ago today," Bacon writes. "Ren McCormack taught the town to play..."
In those 30 years, the cast of the original "Footloose" -- including Bacon, John Lithgow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lori Singer -- have gone on to enjoy diverse careers in TV and film, while a remake of "Footloose" was released in 2011 starring Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid and Miles Teller.
Can you believe it's already been 30 years since the original "Footloose" was released?...

Thirty years ago, Kevin Bacon taught Bomont — and the nation — that the kids just want to dance. That's right, it was on this day in 1984 when "Footloose" made its way to theaters becoming a box office hit, Oscar nominee for Best Song and a soundtrack sensation. So this President's Day, take a few minutes to remember that feeling you had when you first wanted to kick off your Sunday shoes. Below, we have 7 clips from the film, highlighting the struggle the kids faced from the crusty adults, who didn't want their arms akimbo and legs flailing within city limits. And then after that, compare and contrast the final big dance scene from Herbert Ross' original movie and Craig Brewer's country-fried 2011 musical remake. Sorry Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough, you're no Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer. Check it all out below.
