What do you get when you put two former WWE superstars in the woods and have them go head-to-head on camera? Well you get 100 Acres of Hell apparently!
Starring Gene Snitsky (aka WWE’s Snitsky) in the lead role, and Sam Anoai (aka Samu in WWE) as the disfigured killer Jeb Tucker, 100 Acres of Hell is, essentially, your classic 80s backwoods slasher set in 2019. The cliches are all the same, the tropes of the genre are all there… in fact nothing has changed expect for the fact this time round its not a group of buxom young “teenagers” getting slaughtered, it is in fact a group of middle-aged wanna...

Indican Pictures will release Hank Leigh Hump's 100 Acres of Hell. Co-written by Jason Koerner (Pembrook), this indie horror film takes place in Foggy Creek. Here, an ancient legend roams the hills. Named Jeb, this killer has found another target, several men out on a bro's weekend. But, these campers will not go down without a fight. As well, this title stars well known WWE wrestling superstars: Gene Snisky and Sam Anoai. Also starring Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier) and Eileen Dietz, this film will begin a theatrical release in early October; a wider release is expected by mid-October. All of the film's release details are hosted here. The trailer shows Buck Severs (Snisky) heading home. Recovering from a career ending injury, Buck is ready to reconnect with: home, hearth and country. Out in the woods, Buck is confronted with something and someone he has never heard of before. A match-up for the ages,...

Welcome to another edition of Rumours & Reactions, where all the biggest — and not so big — rumours and newsworthy bites are on display. Luckily, in pro wrestling the rumour mill is always running so let’s see what’s on tap for today.
In the WWE, plenty of backstage whispers on the ever-changing women’s division. Kevin Owens is being pulled in two directions, where will the big man land when it’s all said and done? SummerSlam is slowly shaping up with a possible 6-man tag. WWE looks to smash the competition, and finally, first names are no longer safe, just ask King Barrett.
Checking out the company that continues to hang on by a thread, Tna is now changing up how their talent contracts are handled going forward. Also, more talent looks to be heading out, thanks to Hernandez’s contractual mix-up.
Finally, a “where are they now?...

Jay Lee may be best known as the director of Zombie Strippers, but he has a new psychological horror movie, Alyce Kills, that is out on DVD next week. We had the opportunity to have Jay take part in our Q&A series and he told us about getting back to psychological horror, working with Jade Dornfeld, and the possibility of us seeing a Zombie Strippers sequel:
Thank you very much for taking the time to talk with us. Alyce Kills is very different from a movie like Zombie Strippers. What made you want to go into this more serious/psychological direction?
Jay Lee: Actually it was the other way around. Alyce Kills is more of a return for me from the detour that was the over-the-top gorefest comedy horror films. The latter was just better business (my prior psychological thriller that actually premiered at Sundance is indeed a...

At the Us Elections, Linda McMahon lost her chance at being in the Senate for the second time. This is after the $ 90 million that the McMahons have spent trying to get Linda in office.
A good portion of this was spent in a purge of WWE material from YouTube.
Apparently, this has been done “To better reflect our current family-friendly brand of entertainment, WWE is removing some dated and edgier footage from digital platforms,” WWE said in a statement. However, the real motive was clear when the statement went on to say “Some of this footage has been misused in political environments without any context of explanation as to when it was produced.” The WWE’s drive to remove this old footage seemed to be attempt sure up Linda’s chances of being in office is similar to their “Stand Up for WWE” campaign of 2 years. A truly terrible motion picture from 1966 that would have been completely unknown today had it not been the subject of a very memorable episode of “Mystery Science Theater 3000” in the Nineties is getting a sequel from a filmmaker who readily admits he began working on it as a dare. Only the hands of fate could insist the world be graced by Manos: The Search for Valley Lodge.
It was about a year-and-a-half ago when word first broke that a sequel to the all-time bad movie not-so-classic Manos: The Hands of Fate was in the works. It had been so long since there was any news about the project, I, like many of you I suspect, assumed that someone had come to their senses. Fangoria provides information that proves otherwise.

Sitting in the number eight position on imdb's Bottom 100, with more user votes than any other film in the final ten, sits the Texas-born oddity Manos: The Hands of Fate, a "thriller" about a vacationing family who run afoul of Manos-worshipping pagans. If you've been wondering if we'd ever get to return to the delightful universe of Manos and its infamous knock-kneed manservant Torgo, well, you're in luck! Manos: The Search for Valley Lodge is expected to shoot in 2011, according to Dread Central.
It's been a long time since the original film was dragged into the harsh light of day by the crew at Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (which they've cited as the Gold Standard for painfully unwatchable films), but it sounds like producer Rupert Munch Sr. is approaching this follow-up as legitimately as possible. The official synopsis from the website TorgoLives.com dishes out the plot, "a woman battling...

"A sequel to 'Manos: The Hands of Fate' is in the works" probably ranks as one of the top three sentences I never ever thought I would find myself writing. Yet, here I am reporting the unbelievable news that a sequel to one of the worst movies ever made, a movie that probably would have been completely forgotten today were it not immortalized by 'Mystery Science Theater 3000', is getting sequelized 45 years after the fact.
Made in 1966 by an El Paso, Texas fertilizer salesman with zero film experience, zero budget, and a cast comprised primarily of everyday citizens, Manos: The Hands of Fate is hands down one of the most insufferably awful things ever composed to film, and because of that it has become a cult classic amongst bad movie fans. The original exercise in excessive tedium dealt with a family that gets lost on a trip and...
