9-1-1 finally gave Buck a formal origin story on Monday — and it was even darker than we could have imagined.
Still reeling from the discovery that he and Maddie had an older brother who died of cancer, Buck also learned this week that he was only conceived in the hopes that he would be a bone marrow match for Daniel. The Buckleys’ twisted (and way-too-common!) plan worked for a short time, until Daniel eventually relapsed and died, at which point the family moved away and never spoke of the tragedy again.

It’s easy to see how people fall into the stereotypes that others come to expect and take on the real-life persona that is a part of the lifestyle they’ve chosen. Young Buck, who states that he’s no longer a part of G-Unit but has apparently gone back to the group, is one such individual since he’s been living that life for a while now and has had to pay a few times for it. The legal troubles and other issues he’s been through in his time as a rapper seem to mount up every now and again and become a

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a good one to talk about.
Match #1: Stud Stable defeated Jason Cade, Jimmy Yuta & Rhett Giddins The following includes a recap which is courtesy of Mlw.com
The Dirty Blondes teamed up with Parrow as Col. Robert Parker brought nearly 1,000 pounds of Stud Stable beef to the ring. Meanwhile, Cade and Yuta offered up some size of their own in Rhett Giddins. Cade and Yuta bring speed and finesse, while Giddins counters the mighty Parrow’s power.
Yuta utilized that quickness early, starting the match with numerous pin attempts on Michael Patrick. With Yuta establishing early momentum, he backed into his own corner, where Cade took it upon himself to tag in unbeknownst to Yuta. But Patrick quickly tagged in Parrow — the biggest, strongest man in the match.

Taylor Swift can't be put into a musical box. Her evolution from country music's favorite darling to pop music's fiercest competitor is just one example of that. But another genre Taylor isn't afraid to tap into is hip-hop. She showcased her impressive rap skills when she covered Eminem's single "Lose Yourself" on tour. She also rapped the chorus of Young Buck's 2004 hit single "Shorty Wanna Ride," and who could forget when she lip-synced Kendrick Lamar's "Backseat Freestyle" while driving and staying on beat? Taylor took things a step further in 2015 when she invited Fetty Wap, Nelly, and Wiz Khalifa to perform on stage with her during her 1989 world tour. While we wait to see which rapper Taylor will hang with next, we've rounded up a list of hip-hop stars the "Bad Blood" singer has already initiated into her epic celebrity squad. At this moment, in the world of TV comedy, nobody is doing diversity better than ABC. "Fresh Off The Boat" is one of the best new comedies of the spring, maintaining its creative momentum from a strong pilot and generating a consistently solid audience in a time period that has caused ABC nothing but trouble in recent years. "Black-ish" was one of the fall's better new comedies and after the usual out-of-the-blocks maturation, it has become reliably smart and perceptive, doing a reasonably good job of holding onto that fickle "Modern Family" audience. I didn't have any use for "Cristela," but people I respect have been aggressively and demonstrably on-board for it since Day 1. ABC also has comedies celebrating families from The Heartland ("The Middle"), conservatives ("Last Man Standing"), secular Jews ("The Goldbergs"), intimacy-free gay marriage ("Modern Family") and wealthy snobs in the Hamptons ("Revenge"). As much as I've hated...

Former G-Unit rapper Young Buck (born David Darnell Brown) was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday, stemming from two counts of weapons charges as a convicted felon.
According to MSNBC, a federal judge ordered the multi-platinum rapper to begin serving his two counts concurrently on August 13, resulting in an 18 month sentence. In addition to reporting to prison, the judge also summoned Brown to court-ordered supervision for three years upon his release.
In spite of the Nashville native’s criminal history and recent bankruptcy woes, he remains positive and said he looks forward to getting his life back on track following his jail stint.
"With the judge not considering my history to subtract some time, I'm just thankful for what time I do have," he told NBC affiliate Wsmv-tv. I've had some rough times. I've been fighting the bankruptcy situation, and there were some court situations. My pride is through the roof.

Also, as someone married to a man with Lithuanian heritage (not recent, though), the bit on the Lithuanian national perfume was, by far, my favorite clip of the entire week. I never thought Stephen would give me such fodder for family gatherings. What were your favorites this week?

It was a great year for street albums, and Mixtape Daily salutes the street kings.

The mixtape game took a shot to the heart a few years ago when DJ Drama's office was raided by the feds. Artists increasingly opted to make mixtapes that were essentially albums, projects produced without help from DJs and comprised mostly of original material.
But slowly Gangsta Grillz began populating blogs, the same way they used to populate the streets, and those sites served as the new Burkinas. In the last 12 months, the mixtape circuit has never been healthier — just look at Dram still putting out his trademark rap heat and getting his slow jam on, pushing collections by the likes of Chris Brown, among other R&B stars.

The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive
If DJ Khaled's records are movies, then the Miami-based radio jock is a director. And like all good cameramen, he wants to keep his script closely guarded.
His next project is his first for Cash Money Records, and he's looking to kick things off with a lead single that would put "The Matrix Reloaded" opening scene to shame.
"I don't want to tell you the name of the artist yet," he told Mixtape Daily. "I want people to be surprised. But I have my first single."
It might not be that hard to figure out who he could have in store for the record. He's new to Cash Money,...

Dull, dull, dull. That's the weekend in a nutshell. It's the calm before the storm. If you're looking for excitement at the box office, you won't find it here. I mentioned in last Friday's column that this weekend would be a dumping ground for movies studios don't care enough about to get behind, and that's what we're getting.
Sure, there are some new releases. There are three, in fact. Tony Scott and Denzel Washington are inflicting their five-hundredth team-up upon us (I'm sure the action is intense, I'm sure Denzel is intense, and I'm sure Reboot Kirk is serviceable as the as-yet-un-field-tested Young Buck). They're also tempting fate by calling their latest collaboration Unstoppable, thereby ensuring that reviewers and box office trackers will be assuring everyone that the movie's name is a misnomer. (Maybe not. Looks like the critics are digging it.) It's the only one of the three that...

U.S. tax officials have called off an auction of items seized from Young Buck's home after the rapper agreed to pay back his debts. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents raided the hip-hop star's Tennessee property in August and left with his most valuable assets after he allegedly failed to pay $300,000 in taxes.
The goods were due to be sold on Thursday, October 28 but IRS officers canceled it after Young Buck's bankruptcy lawyer took legal action to block the sale and agreed a payment plan with the government.
According to legal filings, attorney Lynda Jones claimed the raid caused the star's family to become distressed, which prevented him from paying installments. The former G-Unit star will reportedly put some of his real estate on the market to clear his delinquent taxes, reports The Tennessean.

Rapper Young Buck has denied he's facing financial ruin after filing for bankruptcy following a $300,000 tax bill - insisting he was "forced" to file to end his recording contract with G-Unit. Buck became embroiled in a tax battle with America's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) when U.S. federal agents raided his Tennessee home last month, seizing his most valuable assets after he allegedly failed to pay his debts.
A representative for the star has confirmed his bankruptcy status to AllHipHop.com, which will allow the rapper to keep all of his possessions, as he pays back an estimated $12,500 -per-month, over the next five years. However, the star insists the decision was made in order to terminate his current recording and publishing contracts with G-Unit Records, not because he's run out of money.
In a statement released to the website, he explains: "I was forced to file bankruptcy, not because I am broke.
