Darcia Parada is a director and producer of innovative and critically acclaimed interpretations of classic works with often "standing room only" audiences. Attendees liken Parada's immersive shows to "being on a film set." Fearless undertakings include fully mounted intimate to epic productions using strip clubs, diners, tents, subway platforms, back alleys, rooftops, riverboats, the Coney Island Sideshow, classic theaters, and the 1500 seat outdoor Badlands amphitheater. Recent projects include a concert performance of (North American Premiere) of Roberto Scarella Perino's Furiosus at Merkin Hall in NYC. She has feature film scripts in development with Wilhelm Creative Center (Czech Republic) and Optima (Ukraine) and most recently her screenplay Glams Casino was selected by New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT) Screenwriters Showcase and presented as a staged reading in NYC.
