Todd Knowlton is the Vice President of Merchandising and Promotions for
the Kismet Entertainment Group. Todd recently joined the crew in
California as the Assistant Production Designer on the set of Boo!, a
Kismet production. Prior to joining Kismet, Knowlton earned a
Bachelor's of Arts degree in Commercial Art and began his career as an
illustrator for a educational text book publisher. Soon after, Knowlton
added to his responsibilities working as a set designer and artist for
a 3500-seat theater in Pensacola, Florida. Knowlton who currently makes
his home in Siloam Springs, has designed, built, and decorated numerous
sets for community and university productions. Murals and backdrops;
model, diorama, and prop building are among his repertoire of exercised
skills.
Knowlton's talents in creation of atmosphere have also been demonstrated in the design and décor of several retail environments, coffee shops, restaurants, and tradeshow booths. Restoration of two Victorian homes has also contributed to his attention to detail. Partnering in the establishment of a design firm specializing in advertising and publishing, Knowlton served as president of that company for ten years. August 2002, Knowlton began his own production company, Spooklight Productions.
