- Foad Nour's love of Cinama began at the age of 12. His love of films, photography and film making dragged him into European film festivals and over the years he became one of the largest film distributors in the middle east. He constantly participated in Cannes, Deauville, and Venice Film Festivals and almost all major foreign film festivals as a young film buyer and distributed all the box office movies in the middle east and Iran during 1960s and 1970s. After the Iranian revolution he bought a movie theater and renovated it to his taste and started to write, co produce and produce Iranian Films. He produced movies in very tough situations during Iran-Iraq war and when cinema had no audience in Iran after the revolution. His creative mind and love of cinema and new technology made him an active member in the cinema society. He began to create his name as one of the largest film producers in Iran. He was known as the Calm man of cinema in a very hectic cinema environment . He wrote, Co Produced, Produced and assisted his directors and actors to new techniques and he was very patient to teach and inform others for new digital technology, building new movie theaters, cinema innovations and improvements for Iranian Cinema. He was one of the first producers in Iran who brought and introduced movie sponsors into cinema world. He also introduced half price movie ticket plan to the Iranians cinema and it was a huge success. He was became the CEO of the Iranian Cinema Owners Union and started providing aids to all Movie Theaters all over Iran.
