Alan Moore is a retired music arranger and composer. He founded Moore Music Group based in Chicago, Illinois, USA in 1988, which provided music for several jingles and TV/radio advertisements. His son Jason Moore joined the company shortly after in 1993.
Both him and his son provided additional score for VeggieTales: The Toy That Saved Christmas (1996) when Kurt Heinecke was too busy with other projects. They also made the music for VeggieTales Christmas Spectacular! (1996).
Moore attended High Point Central High School, High Point, North Carolina, USA between 1962 and 1965. He then attended East Carolina University, in Greenville, North Carolina, USA between 1965 and 1969. He got degrees in music from both.
He joined the US Marine Corps between 1969 and 1975, and was a music arranger in Nashville, Tennessee, USA between 1976 and 1988.
He has since retired to Melbourne, Florida, USA.
