As a press release notes, this trailer show us that “Jason towers over the competition as a Tank class character with a scary moveset that incorporates his axe and machete weapons, teleporting ability to show up right behind opponents and stuff them into a sleeping bag, fatally folding a bed in half to launch enemies off the map,...

Back in November, Mark Hamill told fans at Fan Expo San Francisco that he would no longer be portraying the Clown Prince of Gotham.
Despite being considered by many to be the best Joker of all time, Hamill believed he just couldn't play the role unless it was opposite Kevin Conroy's Batman. Conroy, who voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman across several projects, passed away in November 2022.
But it seems there was a little caveat that allowed for Hamill to reprise the iconic villain role one final time in an upcoming game called MultiVersus. As it turns out, prior to his passing, Kevin Conroy also voiced Batman in the fighting game. It's perhaps for this reason that Hamill made an exception to his previous statement and returned to the role of Joker in the game.
For those unfamiliar, MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighter, in the same vein as Nintendo's Super Smash Bros.

During her “stay” at Harrenhal, Arya Stark once again met the enigmatic man she’d saved earlier — the one who called himself Jaqen H’Ghar at the time. As we learn later, he was, in fact, one of the Faceless Men, the order of shapeshifting assassins who assumed Jaqen’s identity as a disguise and had nothing to do with the man.
Despite that, the Faceless Man was very clearly disturbed when Arya told him to kill Jaqen H’Ghar. Why would he be afraid? He wasn’t that person, after all. Right?..
Arya Cleverly Blackmailed the Faceless Man
Most Game of Thrones fans would argue that Arya Stark mishandled the power of having a Faceless Man at her disposal. With three names and an entire list of enemies to choose from, she picked way too insignificant targets — but, justified by the consequences or not, Arya still used her sinister power over life smartly once.

The early 2010s are often hailed as a modern golden age of television where TV episodic content was constantly reaching new heights of cinematic brilliance. One of the vanguards of this movement was undoubtedly Game of Thrones, which became one of the most watched and critically acclaimed shows throughout its eight seasons.
But despite the craze surrounding the series, not every part of its epic saga was well-received. Today marks the fifth anniversary of one of the most controversial episodes of Game of Thrones in its eighth and final season, titled “The Long Night.” Naturally, fans took to social media to mark the occasion and express their support and/or poke fun at the ways in which the episode fell short of expectations.

Game of Thrones’ overwhelming popularity inevitably led to HBO wanting more TV shows set in George Martin’s captivating world. Countless projects have already been pitched and rejected, but while some of them were questionable at best, others were promising and spectacular even based on their premises — and still ended up in the red-lit pile with the rest.
10,000 Ships Almost Sailed with Grrm’s Approval
One of the best ideas for a Game of Thrones prequel show was 10,000 Ships. In the original TV show, the legendary warrior-queen Nymeria was Arya Stark’s favorite historical figure and the deliberate namesake of the girl’s direwolf because of that. In George Martin’s lore, Queen Nymeria is among the most interesting characters.

Brian Helgeland is a popular name in the industry for his works in films like Mystic River and L.A. Confidential. The latter even blessed him with an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. The renowned screenwriter and producer was near to having his Game of Thrones spin-off series. However, the Ten Thousand Ships series never got a green light from HBO.
A scene from Game Of Thrones
The idea of Brian Helgeland’s Ten Thousand Ships was planned to be based on the mythological story of Moses. The structure and tonality of the story would have been very different from the main Game of Thrones series. Although Helgeland has stated that his script is still there and HBO can pick it if they want, it is highly unlikely due to the present political milieu of the world.

For years, fans of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series believed the books simply couldn’t be adapted to the screen. There were too many characters, spread across multiple continents, in stories that would take years to intersect. And much of the plot was inspired by events that took place decades, if not centuries, before the contemporary action. It was an impossible task, everyone assumed. No one could do that.

It's been almost five years since Game of Thrones wrapped up its wildly popular run on HBO.
But while the show might have consistently delivered stellar ratings, it didn't always leave viewers feeling satisfied.
In fact, half a decade after the controversial Game of Thrones series finale, any mention of the series is still more likely to elicit complaints than fond memories from people who would've once described themselves as devoted fans.
Why such a rapid reversal of opinion?
Well, Game of Thrones' lackluster final season is the most obvious culprit, but the criticism began long before Daenerys turned to the dark side.
The show's ability to generate controversy and debate among fans was one of the keys to its early success.
Unfortunately, by the time Bran Stark came out of left field to claim the Iron Throne, the chorus of criticism was far louder than the smattering of praise.

After so many acclaimed and popular performances in projects ranging from 300 to Game of Thrones to The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Lena Headey is stepping behind the camera for the first time for her directorial debut, The Trap.
The indie film – which is having its world premiere this weekend at the Austin Film Festival — is a character-driven psychological drama with some shockingly dark elements (which will not be spoiled here). The Trap stars Headey’s Thrones co-star Michelle Fairley as a woman living a life of solitude when she meets a mysterious young drifter (James Nelson Joyce). The project is based on Headey’s short film, which she also wrote.
The Trap comes at a busy time for Headey, who also stars in Zak Penn’s upcoming sci-fi series Beacon 23, which premieres Nov. 12 on MGM+, and she stars in Kurt Sutter’s upcoming Netflix Western drama series The Abandons,...

It looks like Game of Thrones fans might just have something to celebrate. While nothing’s official quite yet, it appears that a Jon Snow sequel featuring Kit Harington could be coming to the HBO Max lineup within the next several years. Here’s what we know about the potential Jon Snow sequel so far.
Jon Snow sequel
American novelist and screenwriter George R.R. Martin is the creator of the renowned fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire, later adapted into Game of Thrones. This Emmy-Award-winning HBO series ran from 2011 to 2019. To the delight of Got fans, Martin broke the news in a 2022 blog post that a Jon Snow sequel was in the works.
In his blog post, Martin also revealed that English actor Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the original Game of Thrones series, was the one to dream up the idea of a sequel.

"Game of Thrones" has been off the air for several years now, and the prequel series "House of the Dragon" has taken over the world that author George R.R. Martin created in his novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire." While the controversial finale of "Game of Thrones" soured a lot of fans (including myself) on the show, all you have to do is think about Maisie Williams' portrayal of Arya Stark to remember why we loved it in the first place. Getting to watch a young girl who always knew she didn't want to be like everyone else grow, change, get more powerful, and set off on a massive sea adventure at the end was a wonderful thing, and something I wish there was more of on television.
While there were many things that didn't translate well from the books, Arya's character absolutely did. Perhaps you, like me,...

“We’re excited to create an RPG puzzle experience that amplifies the mechanics of skilled play and adds in champion management with the magnificent setting, characters and lore of the Game of Thrones universe from both series,” said Yaron Leyvand, Executive Vice President Mobile Games, Zynga. “Game of Thrones: Legends will bring your favorite Westeros characters,...

Cast your mind back to season 3 of HBO's "Game of Thrones." Those who had read the books by George R.R. Martin that the series was based on had quite the dilemma. How would we keep from spoiling the Red Wedding? This was a huge event in the books, and readers spent a lot of time trying to keep it a secret as our non-reader counterparts sat on the couch next to us and tried to watch episode 9, "The Rains of Castamere."
If you have somehow managed to avoid what happened, here's a refresher. After Robb Stark (Richard Madden) loses half of his army through desertion, he and his mother, Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), visit House Frey for aid. Walder Frey (David Bradley) is angry because Robb was supposed to marry one of his daughters but chose someone else instead. When the song "The Rains of Castamere" begins to play as a signal,...

A Bollywood AI spin has been given to one of the most popular shows ‘Game Of Thrones’, where Hindi film actors have been given the iconic roles of characters Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark. The three siblings Cersei, Jaime Lannister and Tyrion Lannister too have got a sprinkle of Bollywood magic too.

What is dead may never die. These are the words of Game of Thrones’ Ironborn, a relentless Viking-like culture who never says “when” while a horn of ale is being poured. Yet it also speaks to our current moment in pop culture where television shows don’t end; they multiply.
Sometimes this can be a good thing, too, as glimpsed by the generally euphoric reaction to the first Game of Thrones spinoff to make it to the air last year, HBO’s epic House of the Dragon, which recently was just nominated for best TV Drama of the year by the Primetime Emmys. However, it is unlikely to remain the only Game of Thrones spinoff to enter HBO waters, with multiple prequels actively in development… as well as an outright sequel which is being developed by no less than Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow.

"Game of Thrones" had it all. Dragons, controversies, book readers trying to keep from spoiling non-book readers, intense fear of character deaths, and one of television's best team-ups: The Hound (Rory McCann) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). Sandor Clegane, aka the Hound, had a rough start in life, with his brother Gregor sticking his head in a fire for playing with one of Gregor's toys. He was the bodyguard to the evil little Prince Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and later took to the road with Arya.
The Hound's turn from a total jerk to Arya's protector of sorts (not that she ever needed one) and ... dare I say, friend ... was one of the best parts of the show. The banter between the two of them ended up being some of the most delightful moments, and if they'd just shown us endless episodes of the Hound and Arya show, I would have tuned in every week.

Friendship Day is on the horizon and in the midst of that, there are several celebrities in Hollywood who have wide and long standing friendships. Some of these friendships are a bit unorthodox, because one wouldn’t think that this person would in fact be friends with the other. But as they say, friendship knows no bounds.
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg
The two legends of Hollywood, Lucas and Spielberg have been friends all the way back since the 1970’s and are creative geniuses. Though their styles of direction and writing are drastically different, both of them have an imagination and methods that have captured the hearts of audiences. Their best known collaboration till date is in the ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise.
