“Dancing with the Stars” premiered in 2005 with a focus on teaching celebrities some fancy footwork. But along the way the professional dancers who teach and partner with those celebrity amateurs became stars in their own right. Many of them returned to the show year after year, and over a dozen have won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy over the course of the series. Scroll down to see every single “DWTS” pro champion, listed by their number of victories.
It’s fitting that the “DWTS” pros have become fan-favorites because they’re not just dancers. They’re also trainers, choreographers and storytellers, and their chemistry with the stars fuels the show’s best routines, so they’re truly the lifeblood of the competition, especially when they bring talent and charisma out of unexpected places, from child stars to race car drivers to one male model, Nyle Dimarco, who won the Mirror...

Following the departure of Tyra Banks, Dancing With the Stars has found a new co-host — one who’s likely familiar to viewers of the show.
Julianne Hough, a former pro dancer and judge on the long-running competition series, is rejoining DWTS as a host for its 32nd season. She’ll co-host the Disney+ show alongside Alfonso Ribeiro.
Hough will also rejoin her brother, Derek, on Dancing With the Stars. He currently serves as a judge alongside Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
Julianne Hough joined Dancing With the Stars as one of its professional dancers in the show’s fourth season in 2007. She and her celebrity partners (Apolo Ohno and Hélio Castroneves) were crowned champions in seasons four and five.
She left the show in 2009 to pursue other aspects of her career but made several guest appearances before joining the judging panel from 2014-17. Hough has been a guest judge several times in recent seasons.

Jay Leno has apologized for anti-Asian jokes he made on “The Tonight Show” stemming back two decades. In a joint press statement released Wednesday with the Media Action Network for Asian Americans (Manaa), Leno admitted that he knew in his heart the jokes were wrong.
“At the time, there was a prevailing attitude that some group is always complaining about something, so don’t worry about it. Whenever we received a complaint, there would be two sides to the discussion: Either ‘We need to deal with this’ or ‘Screw ‘em if they can’t take a joke,'” Leno explained. “Too many times I sided with the latter even when in my heart I knew it was wrong. That is why I am issuing this apology. I do not consider this particular case to be another example of cancel culture but a legitimate wrong that was done on my part.

Thursday night on “Hell’s Kitchen,” the show featured its first medical situation of the season in only the third episode — is that a new record? One contestant couldn’t survive the drama of the competition and required a paramedic’s assistance, while their teammates waited to see if they’d make it to dinner service. Elsewhere in the episode, Chef Gordon Ramsay tasked the players with making Caesar salad dressing from scratch and then one tearful chef-testant ended up going home at the end of the hour.

As Covid-19 wreaked havoc on the world in 2020, Fox decided to offer a reheated second serving of “Hell’s Kitchen All Stars,” the show’s 17th season that originally premiered in September 2017, over the summer.
