Some people will do anything to move up the corporate ladder regardless of who gets hurt. In Fair Play, director/writer Chloe Domont puts a 21st century spin on classic eighties and nineties style corporate thrillers. Imagine a movie like Disclosure from a female perspective or if the Michael Douglas character happened to be a raving psychopath.
In Fair Play, an unexpected promotion at a cutthroat hedge fund pushes a young couple’s relationship to the brink, threatening to unravel far more than their recent engagement. Domont directs from a script she wrote, with Phoebe Dynevor starring as the crumbling couple. The World’s End and 21 Grams actor Eddie Marsan also stars as a corporate puppetmaster pulling the young couple’s strings.
In Netflix‘s Fair Play trailer, Emily (Phoebe Dynevor) and Luke (Alden Ehrenreich) are a young couple in love. Shortly after getting engaged, Emily lands a promotion at...

"These people are gunna clean house – and you are part of that house." Stx Films has unveiled the first official trailer for The Gentlemen, a wily new crime comedy set in London from British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, following his work with Disney making Aladdin last year. It's great to see him getting back to his Snatch and Lock Stock roots again. The Gentlemen stars Matthew McConaughey as a "very British drug lord", actually an American expat, who tries to sell off his highly profitable marijuana empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires - which kicks off "plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail" galore. Featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Hugh Grant, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Colin Farrell. Ohh damn, this looks and sounds and plays as great as I was hoping! Guy Ritchie is back! Can't wait to get my hands on this, it...

The Fast and Furious series gets its first spin-off with Hobbs & Shaw and David Leitch was there to direct it.
David Leitch made his directorial debut, after years as a stuntperson and stunt coordinator, on 2014’s John Wick (with Chad Stahelski), and he’s been tackling even more ambitious projects behind the camera ever since. With 2017’s Atomic Blonde and 2018’s Deadpool 2 both under his belt, he has turned this year to one of the biggest franchises out there, the Fast and Furious series, to helm its first standalone spin-off movie -- Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw respectively, who started in the mothership series as sworn enemies and -- while not exactly the best of friends -- now end up as unlikely allies in a race to stop a literal supervillain...

It’s fair to say that Lennie James is no stranger to the small screen and his latest project, Save Me, proves his talents don’t solely lie in acting. The Sky Atlantic series sees James not only act but also write many of the episodes.
We catch up with Lennie James to talk about Save Me, working with Snatch co-stars again and the small matter of The Walking Dead.
HeyUGuys: Save Me is your first writing credit for a while – how did you first become involved in the project?
Lennie James: You know, there was a point where I thought I’d do much more writing than acting but circumstance meant acting got in the way of writing. Consequently, I’ve always got ideas bubbling around in my head so I write them to get them out of my head.

Lobo may have stumbled upon the unlikeliest of saviors.
Sources close to The Wrap indicate that Transformers helmer Michael Bay has met with Warner Bros. to discuss the long-gestating anti-hero pic, all the while offering his own input to Jason Fuchs’ (Wonder Woman) screenplay. That advice will presumably form the basis of a rewrite for what may well be Warner’s answer to Deadpool. And it appears the studio is keen on injecting a little Bayhem into its DC Extended Universe.
Should Michael Bay choose to direct, it would be his first foray into the comic book movie world, and Lobo‘s first tangible sign of progress since Brad Peyton (San Andreas) passed up the chance to helm his own version of the cigar-chomping rogue back in 2013.
Truth be told, Lobo has been kicking around in some shape or form since 2009, when Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman were attached to...
