Originally from Adelaide and graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts (Musical Theatre) after completing an Honours Degree in Drama at Flinders University in 1999.
Worked at the Dendy Cinema at Circular Quay, Sydney, Australia, even after her film Somersault had premiered at the Sydney Film Festival.
In 2009 Hollie was awarded a Glug for best supporting actress for role as Suzie Tyrone in The Ruby Sunrise at the Ensemble Theatre. In 2008 Hollie was nominated for a Glug as Best Actress for Wrong Turn at Lungfish, also at the Ensemble Theatre.
