Unlike The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra had a different approach to its show, as it preferred to follow a more mature protagonist and deal with more layered themes such as politics, class, and Post-traumatic stress disorder (Ptsd). While the 2005 show was labeled as age-neutral, the sequel is more appealing to an older audience, who have an interest in these themes.
Korra
Though the show is undeniably remarkable, full of intricate world-building with three-dimensional characters, it is disliked by a percentage of the franchise’s fans. However, a fan has come forward and mentioned how some of the events featured in the show were quite unnecessary. If the story writers avoided making the story so complex, and how certain events did not make any sense at all.

The animation of One Piece has significantly grown since the time skip. Earlier, the series was mostly known for its characters and storyline, but for the past few years, the series has worked extensively on its animation, which has resulted in the anime series producing some great moments for One Piece fans.
Zoro vs. King
The prime example of this is the Zoro vs. King fight during the Wano arc. The fight was animated by Katsumi Ishizuka, one of the biggest animators in the anime industry. Ishizuka has worked on a bunch of anime series, but he is most known for animating major One Piece fights like Zoro vs. King, Law vs. Blackbeard, Luffy vs. Crocodile, Luffy vs. Lucci (first), and many more.
However, the animator has hinted at another upcoming major fight in the One Piece anime. The fight is between Monkey D. Garp and Aokiji Kuzan, the tenth...

Created, written, and drawn by Makoto Yukimura, Vinland Saga is a historical epic and a work of true genius. While many series rely on high-stakes action to become massive names, Yukimura’s manga cements its status by making its readers appreciate the great storytelling and the emotional depth it features. At first glance, the manga will look like an action series, taking place in ancient Scandinavia of the Viking Age, showcasing how a young Thorfinn seeks revenge on a mercenary who killed his father.
A still from Vinland Saga
However, once knee-deep in the series, the readers will find how the series features the theme of fatherhood, honor, and the consequences of violence. Though it will sound surprising, Yukimura was not exploring one of these themes in his manga, as he recalls how one of the key themes in his series was sheer accident.

Zoro is a legendary character, not only in One Piece but in other anime and manga franchises as well. The daunting swordsman is often the butt of jokes due to his inability to figure out directions. However, that has not stopped him from appearing in other famous works.
Franchises like Haikyu!!, Kagurabachi and more have included Zoro references in their plot, proving that other mangakas are nerds for Eiichiro Oda’s work. But make sure this doesn’t reach the ears of Sanji fans, or the rivalry between the characters might just prove fatal.

Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of One Piece, experienced the most significant growth in his strength during the time skip. After losing his brother Ace and almost losing his crew during the Sabaody Archipelago arc, Luffy decided that he and his crewmates needed to grow their strength to face the upcoming opponents.
Strawhat Pirates in One Piece
Time Skip is one of the greatest narrative aspects used by manga creators like Eiichiro Oda and Masashi Kishimoto. Although the major role of a time skip is to fast-forward a narrative, they also tend to improve the strength and abilities of the main characters. The only problem with them is that they also increase the age of the characters.
However, Oda, in one of his interviews, revealed how he tackled this problem. He intentionally introduced the two-year time skip so that Luffy and his crew wouldn’t grow too much in age...

One Piece has always been one of the most popular anime. For the last 25 years, Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus has been ruling over the Shonen genre. Monkey D. Luffy’s journey to become the King of Pirates has taken him through several perilous journeys and the fans have always been a part of it. Everyone knows Luffy as the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika user and the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Due to the mangaka’s habit of creating mysteries, fans often make their own theories. But recently, Eiichiro Oda revealed the original design of Monkey D. Luffy and the fans were not ready for it. Like most creators, Oda sensei had initially thought of different designs for Luffy. When the initial design was published online, fans quickly noticed a major difference between the two versions.

Yoshihiro Togashi’s Yu Yu Hakusho is still considered to be one of the greatest shonen anime and manga series of all time. The anime series is something that many of us have grown up watching and it can be put into the same league as Sailor Moon and Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series. The Shonen series’ immense recognition and fan following, just demonstrates how influential and incredible the series was.

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the popular anime and manga series, One Piece, has been a big hit. It has managed to do something that many fans thought would be impossible.
One Piece features a unique setting, weird and colorful characters, and amazing fight scenes. And bringing that to life in a live-action format was always going to be a huge challenge, especially since Netflix has not had much success with other anime adaptations in the past.

But another key factor was the casting of the main Straw Hat crew. The actors who played those characters have been absolutely perfect.

If you take all the genres in anime and combine them, the result would be One Piece, which has everything one needs. From bewitching battles to very calculated and thought-out arcs, foreshadowing that knows no bounds, or Ost that is going to make you feel like you’re floating.
When we talk about One Piece, we also need to chat about Luffy, as he is the main character of the series and is on a journey to overcome obstacles and become the pirate king. Luffy has become a very popular name among the masses since his debut in anime.

Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece has been working hard to achieve his dream of becoming the Strongest swordsman in the world. He has defeated some major opponents in the story who are deemed insanely powerful. However, he is still a long way from earning the title.
Roronoa Zoro
According to the narrative, if Zoro wants to accomplish his dream, he will have to defeat Dracule Mihawk, who is the strongest swordsman in the world right now. As of current strength levels, Mihawk is way above Zoro as he is not only insanely strong, but he also wields the only black blade in One Piece, thus making him the final boss in Zoro’s quest.

The One Piece manga began publication in 1997 and is still ongoing, with Eiichiro Oda continuing the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates. The series is part of the “Big Three,” alongside Bleach and Naruto, and is one of the most popular and most important animanga titles in history. But, as you might have assumed, One Piece is not Oda’s first work. In fact, the whole world of One Piece was born from a one-shot manga, Monsters, that came out earlier and which featured prototypes of the current characters we’re following in One Piece!
While not as popular as One Piece, Monsters is regarded by many as a cult classic work and an important work in the development of Oda’s big masterpiece, which is why we frequently report on it. This time, we are celebrating the upcoming special DVD release of the Monsters anime adaptation,...

Mihawk is a non-commital antagonist in One Piece. He does fight the Straw Hats but is not interested in a staunch enmity like other villains. He regards Zoro as his rival and is extremely curious to see him grow.

In the anime and manga world, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece is known as the God of foreshadowing. The creator over the period of almost 30 years has introduced many mysteries which has shocked the One Piece fan multiple times. Not only that, they also make the One Piece story interesting.
Imu in One Piece
One such mystery that fans believe to be foreshadowed by Oda is the identity of Imu, the ruler or the “God” of the One Piece world. First introduced in the Reverie arc, Imu is the potential final antagonist of One Piece and although he has not made a full appearance in the series, he has already caused a lot of destruction.
There is a belief among One Piece fans that Imu has been inspired by Egyptian Gods and deities and may have a deeper connection to the Alabasta region of the One Piece world.

The latest episode of One Piece anime went all out with the amazing fight sequence between Gear 5 Luffy and Rob Lucci. The animators of the show did an outstanding job of expanding on what we saw in the original manga version of Eiichiro Oda of this clash.
One Piece Episode 1100 was a real milestone for the anime-only fans, as not only did it bring back the super popular Gear 5 form of Luffy, but it also kicked off the major battle of the ongoing Egghead Arc. However, this is just the beginning as there are some huge new battles we are about to witness.
Luffy vs Lucci in One Piece
At the end of the latest episode, we see that when Sentomaru was having a conversation with Gear 5 Luffy, Lucci attacked Sentomaru out of nowhere. It started a debate: why didn’t Luffy figure that out?

Kagurabachi and One Piece are not really connected, aside from being shonen works published by the same publisher in Japan. But, while the similarities are not that numerous, Kagurabachi author Takeru Hokazono has decided to pay tribute to Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece in the most recent chapter of his popular manga by having the protagonist of his manga, Chihiro Rokuhira, recreate Roronoa Zoro’s swordsmanship style from Oda’s series.
Such tributes are not uncommon in the world of manga; numerous authors have openly admitted to paying tribute to Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball in their works, regardless of the fact that their works have little in common with Toriyama’s, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. So, what are we actually dealing with here?

The first season of the live-action adaptation of the popular anime and manga series One Piece, starring Emily Rudd, Taz Skylar, Iñaki Godoy, and other talented stars, was a huge hit. Now that the first season has adapted the East Blue story arc, Netflix is all set to bring the next big saga of the story, the Arabasta arc.
This means viewers will get to see some of their favorite One Piece characters in action, such as Captain Smoker and Crocodile. However, the most exciting addition will be Nico Robin, the next member set to join the Straw Hat pirate crew.

The story of One Piece has given rise to multiple theories that try to figure out what One Piece is and how it is connected to Joyboy, a mysterious figure in Eiichiro Oda’s universe. While some believe that One Piece is a weapon, others think that it is a comic book that inspired Joyboy to wage a war on the World Government.

Zoro’s left eye, which has been closed for a while now, has had many theories developed around it. He first appeared with a missing left eye in One Piece after completing his training with Mihawk during the time skip. Some fans believe that he was injured during his training with Mihawk, while some believe he keeps it shut so that he can improve his precision.
Zoro’s Missing Eye
Knowing Eiichiro Oda’s habit of foreshadowing, One Piece fans think his left eye has some kind of significance that will be revealed later on to enhance his character in some way. Zoro perfected almost all of his abilities when he was training with Mihawk. He was not only able to polish his swordsman skills but also learn the Haki abilities.

One Piece follows the journey of Monkey D. Luffy and his crewmates. Every member of the ship follows their dream and tries to help their comrades in fulfilling their dream. Eiichiro Oda designed the Straw Hat Pirates in such a manner that each one of them has a unique dream but converges at helping Luffy to become the King of the Pirates.
Vinsmoke Sanji has one of the most unique dreams of finding the All Blue. Apart from him, there is another person on the Thousand Sunny who has an interesting and equally troublesome dream. That person is Nami, the ship’s navigator. Even though she has a dream, the fans rarely get to see her working on it. To stop the fans from worrying, Oda sensei gave the perfect reason why she is seldom seen drawing maps.

Chapter 28 of Kagurabachi featured some adrenaline-pumping panels as Chihiro prepared to take on a horde of enemies. He reached the auction house of the Sazanami Clan and struck an entry pose that had otakus in a frenzy.
Why? Because he looks like none other than Zoro himself. Chihiro has already been compared to Zoro because they both use swords. But, the recent chapter has made fans draw even more parallels between them. In fact, some fans even jokingly commented that Chihiro could master the four-sword style, something that Zoro hasn’t mastered yet.

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece has introduced an indefinite amount of characters in his story since its beginning. Almost every character is unique and has left a mark on the story no matter how small or big his/her role is. But sometimes even Oda is not able to fully explore the potential of the characters he brings into the story. One such character is Baron Tamago, one of the Knight-ranked fighters from the Big Mom Pirates.

The One Piece manga recently saw the defeat of Rob Lucci, one of the strongest antagonists of the series, at the hands of Roronoa Zoro. Although Lucci was incredibly strong, he could not hold himself in front of the Straw Hat Pirates swordsman. Lucci has come a long way from the Water 7 arc and his character growth over the years makes him one of the best villains of One Piece. And his Devil Fruit abilities certainly add to this title.
Rob Lucci – One Piece
Rob Lucci shocked the One Piece fandom when he introduced the awakened form of his Devil Fruit in his first fight in the Egghead Island arc. His awakened form was first revealed in One Piece Chapter 1069 when he was fighting Luffy and while it did not have a chance against Luffy’s Gear 5, it was extremely powerful making it one of the best Zoan Devil Fruits in the One Piece world.

The cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, and one of the strongest members of the crew, Vinsmoke Sanji, or as the One Piece world knows him, Black Leg Sanji, has been proving his strength as one of the wings of the Future Pirate King for quite some time now. He has made quite a name for himself since the beginning of the series.
Sanji – One Piece
The only problem with the character however is, that whenever the crew gets a power-up, he is placed third on the list. This means that as compared to Luffy and Zoro, he will always be a step behind in terms of strength no matter what. The perfect example of this is the growth in the Haki abilities of the crew.
Eiichiro Oda has already disclosed that both Luffy and Zoro have the Conqueror’s Haki, which is considered to be the strongest Haki ability in One Piece.

However, the strange thing about the Poneglyphs is their indestructibility. No one knows how the Poneglyphs were made and how they have been so intact even after so many years.

Dracule Mihawk, the man who holds the title of the World’s Strongest Swordsman, has been feared by many, even though he has never shown the true extent of his powers. He is deemed the rival of one of the Emperors of the Sea, Red-Haired Shanks, and even though he can become an Emperor, he chooses not to.
Dracule Mihawk – One Piece
This in itself speaks of the power he possesses. He was recently seen working together with Crocodile and Buggy, as they co-founded the organization called Cross Guild. Since then, no new update about the World’s Strongest Swordsman has been made in the series, and the fans eagerly await to see what he is capable of.
However, One Piece fans have one doubt regarding Dracule Mihawk that will decide whether he will be a part of the final battle. This doubt is whether Mihawk possesses the Advanced Conqueror’s Haki or not.

Monkey D. Luffy, the newly recognized Emperor of the Sea in One Piece, is currently in a battle against one of the strongest villains in the series, the Five Elders. All the Five Elders have reached the Egghead Island arc and trying their best to stop Luffy from escaping the island and capture him while also stopping Vegapunk’s announcement.
Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece
Luffy has come a long way since the beginning of the series. When he was initially introduced in One Piece, fans could have never assumed in a million years that with his powers, his physical appearance, and his attitude, he would be one of the strongest characters in the series and would be the only individual who is the closest to being the King of the Pirates.
However, one thing that Eiichiro Oda has taught us is that the strongest doesn’t always win the fight.
