The promotional train for Dahmer may have started late, but the lack of publicity for the series has seemingly resulted in more interest.
Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story beat Netflix records in its first week on the streaming service.
After just five days available, it secured 196.2 million hours of viewership, allowing it to hit the #1 spot in several countries.
The numbers make Dahmer the highest first week of viewership for a series debut on Netflix.
Granted, the numbers were probably helped by the fact that the series dropped on a Wednesday instead of a Friday.
We'll have more concrete numbers when the show has been available for longer.
The series narrowly beat Inventing Anna, which netted 195.97 million hours viewed.
Squid Game, which became the streamer's most-watched show ever, kicked off with just over 63 million hours viewed.
The series is headlined by Evan Peters (American Horror Story), in a...

In its final season, Showtime isn’t dragging this baby out. In the premiere, Deb was “working” Andrew Briggs, trying to find his stolen jewelry (while also having sex and doing coke with him), and the “Psychopath Whisperer” Dr. Vogel comes in to help Miami Metro on a new serial killer case. Instead of letting us sit and stew on that, Dexter kills Andrew Briggs in a struggle when trying to protect Deb (while rightly so, his actions were all kinds of stupid), and Dr. Vogel reveals that she helped formulate Harry’s Code, and knows All about our intrepid killer.
We finally get to see James Remar play Harry Morgan, and not Dexter’s imagined version of his adopted father. We see him in the form of video taped sessions with Dr. Vogel, as he came to her when he suspected Dexter’s psychotic leanings. He had no one else to turn to…...

“Woman in Black” Air Date: 5/18/2012
This is more like it.
Following last week’s run in with Monroe and bigfoot, Hank wakes up in sweat and terror, quick to draw his gun, putting us all on notice for this now promising show’s finale. Poor dude. While Hank suffers through what he thinks are delusional visions, Nick and Monroe discuss their friend’s fragile mental state and potential psychosis in a rather blasé manner (it’s your best friend and partner for god sake Nick, come clean already). The two are being watched by a mustachioed private investigator type – Nathaniel Adams (Scott Michael Morgan) – who has been following Nick, Monroe, Hank and Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) for a while, judging by his photograph ridden hotel room. He makes a call and, after seeing the guy as merely a headshot for a few episodes, Akira Kimura (Brian Tee) makes his grand appearance.

Mary Alice: "When I was alive, Bree van de Kamp was one of my closest friends...had so much in common...received a threatening letter...I had once committed a desperate act of my own...someone found out and was determined to expose me....with one final act I had to consign my act to history...history has a way of repeating itself." Was this a not so subtle reference to how this final season is alluding to many aspects of the series from years gone by. Bree (Marcia Cross) tells Vance (Jonathan cake) she has only got a letter from a friend. Karen( Kathryn Joosten) hasn't seen anyone by her mailbox. Mary Alice (Brenda Strong) : "Bree Van de Kamp and I had so much in common. We shared similar lives and now Bree found herself praying that we wouldn't share a similar fate." How come Bree was...
