Filmistaan, Airlift, Jolly Llb 2 have done wonders at the box office. The one common factor about all three films was actor “Inaamulhaq” playing diverse characters and amusing the audience with his power packed performances; playing a Pakistani in Filmistaan, an Iraqi in Airlift and recently playing a Kashmiri in Jolly Llb 2. After entertaining the audiences in critically acclaimed and box office hit films, Inaamulhaq is all set with his next with Kapil Sharma in Firangi. As always, Inaamulhaq will be seen in an altogether new look playing a significant role with lot of scope to showcase his untapped talent.
Inaamulhaq who was the creative consultant on Comedy Circus while Kapil Sharma was one of the leading contestants on the show is all excited to share the screen space with his old colleague. Talking about the film Inaamulhaq says, “Firangi is a light-hearted comedy set in the backdrop of...

“I don’t know what my legacy will be,” says porn star turned Bollywood starlet Sunny Leone near the end of Dilip Mehta’s documentary Mostly Sunny. Leone acknowledges that her greatest strength isn’t acting, isn’t dancing – it is, as she bluntly puts it, the ability to “turn a quarter into a dollar.”
Leone is a subject that seems perfectly tailor-made for a documentary about her transition and acceptance – even if that acceptance is frequently grudging – by the Bollywood film fraternity.
Leone’s public persona is documented and well-known. Mehta sets the facts out for us, facts that pretty much anyone with a passing familiarity with Leone knows: that she’s the most searched Indian personality on YouTube; that Osama bin Laden was obsessed with her. “Who doesn’t know Sunny Leone?”, giggles taxi driver Gurpeet Singh Bawa in the films opening moments.
The frustration, of course, is...

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma
There is something about Ram Gopal Varma’s tireless spirit that gets to you. His new Hindi film, his first in three years, is a frenetic frenzied near-hysterical take on the brutal life of the jungle outlaw Veerappan who, apparently, could kill with an impunity that made mass murder a political issue.
To his credit Rgv has done his homework well. There is enough evidence here to convince us that Veerappan was a dangerous psychotic socio-political outcast who deserved to get the death that he finally did. The dark brooding earthy atmosphere created in the film adds to the feeling of dread.
This is no country for the sensitive. And if you are the kind who visits the cinema for emotional release Veerappan is not your thing.
While the first-half of the film shows a government...

The heart-warming tale of a mother-daughter relationship - Best Friends Forever, helmed by Sandeep Modi, is creating quite a stir in the world of short films. I wanted to discover the emotional state of a mother who has given it all and is now on the brink, realizing she is no longer needed as her daughter is now ready to 'fly solo'.

Prashant Ingole impressed us with his wonderful lyrics from the Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom last year. He also got us in the party mood by penning 'Party On My Mind' from Race 2. The versatile lyricist, who's making his mark in the industry, credits his success to Sandeep Singh, ex CEO of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films.
Says Prashant, "Sandeep and I go a long way. Whatever I am today is because of Sandeep Singh. He was the one who spotted my talent, encouraged me and has been a pillar in my life. I am and will forever be grateful to him."
Speaking about his future projects, Prashant says, "There are a couple of exciting projects. One is with a very big singer. Then I'm also working on a big film right now and you'll come to know about it soon. "
Well Prashant, you're such a tease. We can't wait...
