Hallmark is reviving an iconic franchise with a two-picture deal.
TVLine reports that Signed, Sealed, Delivered is making a surprising comeback to the company almost three years after it last aired.
Eric Mabius (Oliver), Kristin Booth (Shane), Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (Rita), and Geoff Gustafson (Norman) are all returning for the new movies that will air on Hallmark Mystery.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered initially aired as a TV movie in October 2013 before returning the following year as a weekly TV series.
After one season, the series reverted to movies, which aired sporadically on the cabler.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters is on track for a late 2024 premiere and focuses on the team finding the intended recipients of three dead letters.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered is arguably one of Hallmark Channel’s best franchises.

Eric Mabius starred as postal detective Oliver O’Toole, with Kristin Booth as technophile Shane McInerney, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe as free-spirited Rita Haywith, and Geoff Gustafson as master researcher Norman Dorman.
Now, there’s been a few updates we can share about the future of the franchise.

Of course, horror is well known for having killer puppets. Depending on how you define ‘puppet’, there’s been Chucky, Annabelle, Jigsaw and others in films like Poltergeist, Krampus and Dolls. Puppet Killer is the first I remember to feature a fluffy pink puppet though.
Hat puppet and it’s owner are big horror movie fans though and so obviously end up in a cabin in the woods with a murderer (guess who) out to kill the group of friends staying there. It’s predictable but it’s supposed to be. This is a movie clearly made by people who like their old school horror movies, and as this one is a comedy, they have some fun with it and the usual horror movie clichés.

The wait is nearly over for fans of the Signed, Sealed & Delivered movies. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has announced that the long-awaited 11th movie in the series is coming this fall.
Created by Martha Williamson, Signed, Sealed, Delivered revolves around four postal workers -- Oliver O'Toole (Eric Mabius), Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), Rita Haywith-Dorman (Crystal Lowe), and Norman Xavier Dorman (Geoff Gustafson). The foursome act as detectives and track down the intended recipients of often long-overdue undeliverable mail. Their missions take them into unpredictable stories where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves, and change futures. The mail arrives late but somehow, it's on time.

In Summer 2019, it was announced that Hallmark had ordered a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie to be released in 2020. The year is nearly over and that hasn't happened. Has the movie been cancelled or just delayed? Here's a timeline.

Jamie also develops more than a passing interest in all of the classic horror movies and loves nothing more than to watch them with Simon. Cut to 10 years later and Jamie is now in his late teens and heading to a cabin in the woods with his friends. Wouldn’t you know it his old friend Simon cant wait to meet and kill Jamie’s friends in some horror-icon inspired ways.

It seems that we haven't seen the last of the POstables. Hallmark Channel has announced that the cable channel is developing a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. A timetable for the new project has not been released.
As Signed, Sealed, Delivered fans know, the franchise began as a two-hour movie in 2013. It did well enough for Hallmark to order a 10 episode TV series which aired in 2014. Rather than continue as a weekly show, Hallmark opted to go back to the movie format and, to date, has aired 11 two-hour films.

On Saturday (Oct. 12), Hallmark Channel premieres the movie-length pilot "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," which has received a 10-episode series order, probably to air in 2014.
Created by Martha Williamson ("Touched by an Angel"), it focuses on Oliver (Eric Mabius, "Ugly Betty"), the head of a team at the U.S. Post Office's Dead Letter Office, who has taken on the task of being a lost-mail detective to make sure that undeliverable letters and packages make it their rightful recipients.
Along the way, the team saves lives, solves crimes, reunites old loves and changes futures. Helping the handsome, idiosyncratic Oliver -- who believes a snail-mail letter is the gold standard of human communication -- is free-spirited Rita (Crystal Lowe), intuitive Norman (Geoff Gustafson), and no-nonsense technophile Shane (Kristin Booth, "The Kennedys").
Under Shane's inspiration, the team goes in a risky and unorthodox direction, beginning with the chance to clear the name of a...

Exclusive: Hallmark Channel is expanding its scripted portfolio. I’ve learned that the cable network has given a 10-episode order to Signed, Sealed & Delivered (formerly Dead Letters) ahead of the backdoor pilot’s October 12 premiere as an original movie. I hear the decision was made based on great testing results for the pilot. Created and executive produced by former Touched By An Angel executive producer Martha Williamson, Signed, Sealed & Delivered is a comedic drama about an intrepid group of mail detectives in the Dead Letter Office who will deliver every last lost & dead letter to its rightful owner just when the recipient needs it most. Ugly Betty alum Eric Mabius is leading that cast, which also includes Daphne Zuniga, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson. Williamson is executive producing with Joel S. Rice, Michael Prupas and Jesse Prupas. The pickup comes on the heels of the second season renewal...

There is bad news for the Primeval spin-off today. Primeval: New World was the Canada Space channel version of the dino-heavy, British, sci-fi series. After its first season run it has been announced that it will not be renewed for a second season.
From Omni Film Productions and it’s British partner, Impossible Pictures, Primeval: New World starred Sara Canning and Neil Matter. According to THR the gang can start looking for work elsewhere.
Producers cited poor ratings as the reason behind the decision to drop the show. Americans will get the chance to check out season one of Canada’s Primeval: New World on the Syfy channel sometime this year, despite the sour outcome. DVDs will also hit the market, thanks to the international distributor, Entertainment One, in the U.S. In the UK, DVD sales kick off in April.

Warning: this feature contains spoilers for Primeval New World
Last week Primeval New World came to an end on Canadian sci-fi channel Space after a thirteen-episode run. A spin-off from the UK Primeval, now seemingly languishing in cancellation hell, it was purported to be an “older, darker and scarier” version of the five-season programme that inspired it, about anomalies opening up around the world allowing creatures from the past and future to invade our world, and the team who deal with them.
Primeval New World featured an entirely new cast – with one guest appearance aside – and a team discovering the anomalies for the first time. Admittedly, the show had its ups and downs (and more of the latter near the beginning of its run...

1.1 The New World
With the UK based original version of Primeval on what could well be a permanent hiatus, we do at least get to enjoy a thirteen-part Canadian spin-off. Originally broadcast on North American channel ‘Space’ back in November/December (and currently on a mid-season break) the new series takes the original idea of holes in time through which past and future creatures pass and gets them opening up in Canada, investigated by a fresh team of anomaly investigators.
Those new to the concept will find their introduction to the series relatively pain-free in series opener The New World, but it's handled well enough for Primeval regulars to not feel bogged down in catch-up, which is a difficult balance but done well here.
