- Neal Casal was born on November 2, 1968 in Denville, New Jersey, USA. He was a composer and actor, known for Supernatural (2005), Happy End. (2005) and Country Strong (2010). He died on August 26, 2019 in the USA.

- He was the lead guitarist in Ryan Adams' backing band the Cardinals, and also played with the Jayhawks, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and the Hard Working Americans. He played on recordings by Willie Nelson, Shooter Jennings, Lucinda Williams, and Tift Merritt. He was a singer-songwriter in his own right, releasing several solo albums and founding the group Circles Around the Sun.
- Mine hasn't really been a rock star life. Granted, I've gotten to travel the world and see a lot of things that other people haven't. Some of the other life-building events that people go through... I haven't had some of those things. It gets harder as you get older. I've definitely had an amazing life in music. That's for sure. I've got to make so many records, tour, take photographers [sic], write songs, meet new friends, and all of that.
