Exclusive: American Chopper is back for the second season of its revival, returning to Discovery Channel starting Tuesday, Feb. 12.
This season, motorcycle builders Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. reclaim their renowned bike brands, Orange County Choppers and Paul Jr. Designs. They also take steps to mend their formerly fractured relationship and begin to restore a 1951 Buick together.
The show returned to the air last year after being absent for six years, during which legal problems between father and son dominated their attention. As noisy as the bikes they producer, the Teutuls have had a contentious relationship, with Paul Jr. being fired at one point from the father’s Orange County Choppers and forming rival Paul Jr. Designs.
While both shops are located near each other in Orange County, New York, the family feud kept them miles apart. The new series explores their reconciliation after years of cross complaints.

When Netflix announced last year that it would revive “Queer Eye,” the hit reality makeover show from a decade ago, the internet responded with a resounding “why?”
“The rights came back,” David Collins, co-creator and executive producer of “Queer Eye” said Tuesday night. The show, he explained, was “available for us to take out again.”
Collins appeared at a panel discussion hosted by Hrts, where he was joined by other unscripted producers and executives — as well as moderator Scott Hervey — to discuss the phenomena of rebooting successful reality franchises.
“The show has always been evergreen,” Collins said. “The format was beloved. It had international appeal. The run that we had originally on Bravo had been wonderful, but the time came when it ended, and there was just enough time to kind of settle it. And quite frankly, the Republican world came to be, and it was time for a new...

Sleeveless wonder and Orange County Choppers cofounder Paul Teutul Sr. was fired on Sunday's (April 15) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" for bringing Aubrey O'Day back into the boardroom rather than Arsenio Hall -- at least according to Donald Trump's final words to him. But Paul, for one, thinks he deserved to go.
"I just think that I was at the point where I was too tired to move forward," he tells Zap2it. "Don't forget that I'm shooting two shows at the same time."
He is, of course, referring to the Discovery Channel series "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior," which chronicles the competition between Paul Sr.'s Occ and his son Paul Teutul Jr.'s motorcycle shop, Paul Jr. Designs.
But two reality shows and a successful motorcycle business aren't the only things keeping Paul busy, as he's preparing to open a series of Occ Cafe restaurants with locations at his New Jersey shop,...

Paul Teutul Jr. certainly gave the fans and motorcyle enthusiasts at the International Motorcycle Show quite a shock on "American Choppers: Senior vs. Junior" (Mon., 9 p.m. Et on Discovery). His company, Paul Jr. Designs, partnered with Trans American Muscle and unveiled not a tricked out custom bike, but a tricked out custom car.
"Unquestionably they were expecting a bike, but I think it was good," Teutul said. "But, you know, this is where we're going. Other than the motorcycles, we're going to be expanding into things like this and we felt like this was a perfect first project."
It took the crowd a while to get over their surprise and shock and get on board what was unquestionably a beautiful car. In interviews afterward, several admitted that they weren't disappointed at all to see a car rather than a new bike.

Paul Teutul Jr. took the task of designing a custom motorcycle for the March of Dimes very seriously on "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior" (Mon., 9 p.m. Et on Discovery). "We wanted it to be March of Dimes, but we also wanted it to have a little toughness," he explained at the unveiling.
The idea was to represent the venerable charity organization while at the same time making sure it was something people would want to buy, own and drive. While it had soft colors to represent the expectant mothers and children supported by the March of Dimes, it still managed to look cool and dangerous.
A representative from the March of Dimes spoke about what the motorcyle represented. "When people see the bike I hope they see more than the bike. I hope they realize the March of Dimes is there for them every single day doing research, helping...

Addressing the "Choppper" viewers in the crowd he said it was a landmark moment for them as well.
Later, taking questions from the crowd, Paul Jr. was aked if he'd met with his dad since the build-off. He joked around at first but then became serious and admitted that no, they still hadn't met.

Jesse James, who we have now taken to calling "Mr Classy," is in the news again. He's on this season's "American Chopper" and doing a build off with the Teutul clan. In the video below from TMZ, Mr. Classy talks about the rivalry.
Things seem to be getting heated, and James believes that things between he and Paul Teutul Jr. might come to fisticuffs. "The senior is cool but the kid's like wound up tighter than a watch ... I think he's gonna want to fight me." Well, Jesse, I think a lot of people do.
James recently called ex-wife Sandra Bullock "some Hollywood actress" and said he wants his ring back from ex-fiance Kat Von D. "American Chopper Live: The Build-Off" airs tonight (Dec. 7th) on the Discovery channel. We wonder what other endearing things he'll say.

Showtime has managed the unlikely feat of setting a ratings record with a comedy about cancer.
Despite its challenging premise, Monday night's "The Big C" drew the largest audience for the network in eight years for an original series premiere.
"The Big C," which stars Laura Linney as a woman diagnosed with a terminal illness, drew 1.2 million viewers.
"The Big C's" lead-in, "Weeds," premiered to a strong 1.26 million viewers at 10 p.m., up 4% from the Season 5 debut, which drew 1.21 million.
Sunday night's "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami" finale was the show's most-watched telecast ever. The Season 2 closer drew 3.7 million viewers.
Another cable debut, TruTV's pawn shop reality show "Hardcore Pawn," debuted Monday to 2 million viewers and 1 million in the adult demo -- making it the network's most-watched series premiere.

· Re-rev your engines: Tlc has announced an extension of its successful American Chopper reality series, which ran six months until its stars, father-son motorcycle designers, Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr., parted ways in a nasty legal dispute. The new project, American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior will pit the estranged Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. in competing bike shops and will premiere in August. Series executive producer Christo Doyle is not sure how he will divide each episode but revealed to the New York Post that the Teutuls' estrangement has been difficult for him too: "This is a very bitter situation that runs really deep -- at times I feel I'm a family therapist and not a producer."
