- Besides being a composer, Paul made his "acting" debut by being the "hands" of an actor playing the piano in the film Finding Home (2003) directed by Lawrence Foldes.
- Began playing piano at age 5 and composing seriously by age 12.
- Paul's grandfather recorded him improvising on the piano at age 9 and told him he'd be on the radio someday. Paul has attributed that experience as the beginning of his desire to become a recording artist.
- The cellist on Paul's CD "Redemption," Tina Guo, is now performing in the Cirque du Soleil show "Michael Jackson: The Immortal." She left on the 3-year world tour the day after they finished shooting his music video together for his popular track "Lullaby for the Mending Heart.".
- Attended USC for Music Composition and Film Scoring.
- Los Angeles, CA: Began scoring his first video game soundtrack. (October 2007)
