Ever since Netflix and Judd Apatow inked a two-season deal for romantic comedy series Love in late 2014, all has been quiet as the show began to pick up steam. Fast forward to today and ahead of the series premiere in mid-February, the online streaming giant has debuted the very first image and teaser for Apatow’s latest, showcasing Paul Rust and Community‘s Gillian Jacobs in the starring roles.
Centering on the core and mismatched dynamic between Rust’s do-gooder Gus and the unhinged wild child of Jacobs, Love has been pitched as a modern-day story of a romance between two self-proclaimed commitaphobes. The official logline for Netflix’s new original drama describes Apatow’s new creative venture as so: “They’ve had plenty of romantic misses. But when a jaded Angeleno meets a nerdy guy, they may figure out this “love” thing.”
And though today’s teaser clip tells...

Come one! Come all! Gather around, because the carnival is back… Alleluia! The Devil’S Carnival that is! In celebration of the new film, I spoke with two of the films stars – Chantal Claret and Jimmy Urine. You might know them from their music careers, but I promise you, they steal the show in the carnival! This was a real treat for me, not only as a fan of their music, but as someone lucky enough to call them pals! Check it out as we talk about acting, The Hoff, and get a bit ‘old timey’ with slang!
After triumphant collaborations on 2008’s Repo! If you were as big a fan of Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich’s musical horror spectacle The Devil’s Carnival as I, you can officially start rejoicing now that production has begun on The Devil’s Carnival 2. If you can remember, a teaser trailer was released way back in 2012 that suggested the hellish carnival inhabitants would be traded for – or joined by – an equally colorful cast of heavenly bodies, and this was confirmed by TechN9ne’s angelic Librarian. Since then, there hasn’t been much movement, but if you’ve been checking up on the project’s social media channels, you’d know that Bousman’s production has officially been given the green light! Alleluia!
